Duo Chrome Smokey Eyes Using Inglot Pigment 85

Dear Beauties,

So, today I will be showing how to do a duo-chrome blue/green/red smokey eye look using my favorite pigment from Inglot No. 85! So, without any further delay, let’s just get started :)

Products I have used:

Duo Chrome Smokey Eyes Using Inglot Pigment 85

1) NYX Eyehadow base in skin tone.
2) Lakme Absolute Kohl.
3) Ben Nye Banana Powder.
4) Inglot Pigment No 85
5) Colorbar Liquid Waterproof Eyeliner
6) Sigma E55 brush
7) Faces blending brush
8) The Balm Mary Lou manizer Highlighter

So, this is my to-go smokey look which I use almost every time I want to go out and don’t have enough time.  I do this look since it takes like 5 minutes and looks super pretty! I am using Inglot Pigment 85 here to create a duo chrome effect.  You can use any duo chrome eyeshadow or you can even layer a couple of shades to achieve this look. I love Inglot pigment 85 since its very versatile and can be worn to create dramatic look over smudged black base or use it on its own to create a soft day time look! If you love eye makeup, then this is a must have!

Step-By-Step Tutorial:

Step 1:

Moisturize and prime your eye lids.

Step1 Duo Chrome Smokey Eyes

Step 2:

Apply a concealer, I am using NYX eyeshadow base in skin tone.

Step2 Duo Chrome Smokey Eyes

Step 3:

Apply a black kohl pencil on your upper lash line and waterline.

Step3 Duo Chrome Smokey Eyes

Step 4:

Smudge the black kohl using a smudger brush or q-tip on the upper lash line.

Step4 Duo Chrome Smokey Eyes

Step 5:

Using a flat shader brush like Sigma E55, gently pat the pigment on your entire lid up to the crease.

Step5 Duo Chrome Smokey Eyes

Step 6:

Take a clean blending brush and blend out any harsh lines in your crease area.  You can use a soft brown eyeshadow from MAC to blend out any harsh edges, but I preferred to do without it. Doesn’t it look pretty?

Step6 Duo Chrome Smokey Eyes

Step 7:

Apply a light shimmery highlight to your brow bone, apply your favorite black liner and mascara.

Step7 Duo Chrome Smokey Eyes

Step 8:

Duo chrome smokey eyes are ready in less than 5 minutes :)

Step8 Duo Chrome Smokey Eyes

Hope this tutorial was helpful to you all, until next time, take care and stay beautiful!

What is this Banana powder and why is it used????

Parita January 6, 2013 at 11:45 am

hey aparna…ben nye banana powder is a yellow tinted setting powder which i mainly used to set under eye concealer or foundation..its best suited for indian skin tone becoz of the obvious yellow tint so it does not look ghastly white and photographs extremely well..very natural looking :) hope this helps!
