Eye Makeup Tutorial with Vivid Blue and Gold

Hello Girls!

I was really overwhelmed by your wonderful comments on my last post. A BIG wala thank you to all of you sweeties! I am inspired to do more and more eye makeup tutorials now and this one is for the coming New Year and Christmas parties. Enjoy!

Products Used:

1. VOV 2 color eyebrow powder set.
2. A local brand eye shadow quad (you can use any matte grey).
3. Konad iloje flobu eye shadow in black.
4. Maybelline colossal kajal.
5. Maybelline hypercurl mascara.
6. A vivid electric blue eye pencil (local brand).
7. Lakme compact powder.
8. Golden eye crayon ( use any bright golden shade)
9. Brushes.

Step 1:

Use any dark brown eye shadow and fill your eyebrows properly. I always stress on this step as undone eyebrows can look really bad with vivid eye make up.

Step 2:

Apply a matte grey shade all over your upper eyelid.

Step 3:

Now, take a shimmery grey eye shadow and apply over the matte grey one. Konad iloje in #black is actually a dark grey with fine shimmers. The shimmers are not over the top and would look lovely when you flutter you eyelids at that cute guy in the party! ;) ( ok, that was very cheesy, sorry!)

Step 4:

Whatever eye shadow is left on your brush, extend it to the crease.

Step 5:

Use a matte brown eye shadow and a fluffy brush to blend out the lines at the crease and add some depth to your eyes.

Step 6:

Take a matte white eye shadow and highlight your eye brow bone. I generally use a pale gold to highlight my eyebrow bone, but this time since I will be using gold on the lower lash line, I used white for brow bone.

Step 7:

Now, use a vivid electric blue eye pencil and draw a thick line on your upper lash line and extend it to a wing.

Step 8:

Use a very bright gold eye crayon and draw a thick line on your lower lash line, thickening it as you go outwards to the winged portion of the blue eye liner. Join them.

Step 9:

Finally, wear kajal and mascara and you are done!

Although, this looks very dramatic, I can assure you that it will look good on everybody if you can do it neatly.  Do not wear pink blush with this, rather just dab some highlighter on your cheekbones and a bit over the bridge of your nose. Add some glossy nude lipstick and you are all set to rock the party!
