My Experience with Glossier Moisturizing Moon Mask Soothing Face Treatment:

Packaging: This mask comes in a standard tub packaging.

Texture/Consistency: This mask has a whipped gel-like texture. It is so airy and light, also easy to spread. It is directed to use on moist skin but I use it on dry skin and it works just as well. It goes on light creamy white on the skin and you keep it on for 20 minutes and you are ready to rinse it off when it turns translucent.

Performance: I have normal to dry skin. My skin can be very moody sometimes and go on an extended period of dry flakiness without any prior warning. This mask has truly been a “life saver” for such occasions. This mask deeply nourishes and hydrates my skin and it makes all my dry, dehydrated, and flaky patches disappear as if by magic. My skin feels so plump, soft and smooth I can hardly stop touching it.

Even though it is so deeply hydrating, it never feels heavy or greasy post rinsing. I can use this multiple times a week without worry and it is exceptional as a pre-treatment before makeup. I can apply it sometime before I jump into the shower to start my day. It makes my makeup apply on like a dream. My foundation rarely cracks or emphasizes my dry patches if I have used this mask beforehand.

I also use this mask as a post treatment after using drying clay-based pore cleansing mask beforehand. It takes away all the side effects that clay masks may tend to have on dry skin. I find the result of this mask on my skin stays for a couple days at least. This mask is just perfect for every and any occasion.

Fragrance: It has a very mild herbal fruity scent which is not off putting.

Overall, I LOVE this mask. I love this a tad bit more than the Mega Green Galaxy Mask only because this mask feels like it was sent down from heaven for dry skin like mine. If you have dry skin or are looking to be proactive about the problems of dehydrated and flaky skin for the upcoming winter months, I highly suggest that you grab this without a second thought.
