Kara Refreshing Facial Wipes

I love wipes and more so after my baby was born and I sometimes tried out her wipes. The wipes that I have used for her are amazing. Just that they come in huge packs and are a pain to carry around in the hand bag. So, Kara obviously becomes the easy choice.

Kara Refreshing Facial Wipes

I got two varieties of the wipes. Here is my review:

Product Description:

Kara refreshing facial wipes with cucumber and aloe vera. Refresh your face with the cooling and soothing properties of Cucumber and Aloe Vera. These wipes assure a completely hygienic and effective cleansing to remove dirt, excess oil and grime from the face and neck area. Aloe Vera works as a good skin nourisher and leaves a sweet and light fragrance after use.  Similarly, Cucumber extracts give you long-lasting freshening and soothe your skin. Dermatologically safe.

My Take on Kara Refreshing Facial Wipes

I really like Kara wipes. I like many other wipes more that I use for my baby, but since they are very heavy to carry, I prefer Kara. I have used both of these wipes and they do a similar job except that the wipe with mint oil gives a cooling sensation to face that it gets from the mint oil.

Kara Refreshing Facial Wipes

The wipes are very handy and the fact that there are many varieties to choose from, it is indeed a lovely thing. Both of these are moisturizing in nature and do not dry out the face. Also, the mild fragrance these wipes carry are a plus.

Kara Refreshing Facial Wipes

Pros of Kara Refreshing Facial Wipes:

  • Very handy to carry and use.
  • Moisturizing in nature.
  • Do not dry out the face.
  • Remove all dirt and grime.
  • Lends a freshness to face.
  • Mint oil makes face cool.
  • Fragrant.

Cons of Kara Refreshing Facial Wipes:

  • Nothing major as Kara is the leading brand of facial wipes, but I would suggest them to make the wipes a little bigger in size so that one wipe suffices to clean the face and neck.

IMBB Rating:

4.5/5

Do I Recommend Kara Refreshing Facial Wipes?

Surabhi, I am allergic to Kara wipes!! They sting my face and after using them, I get red boil kind of things on my face :/ I use Johnson’s baby wipes :)
I still haven’t figured out what ingredient causes this allergic reaction though. :(
Anybody has had this problem or is it just me?!

Yea these wipes are good, I like them. Although depending on my mood, I find the mint fragrance a bit overwhelming at times. But I prefer Kara wipes over a few others I’ve tried, especially lemon ones that smell like Vim dishwash :(

Have you tried the Kara makeup removing ones? I kinda liked them…..not that I have tried any other makeup removing wipes.

No Varsha.. I havent used them.. I hardly apply any makeup.. :)

Reply

Surabhi June 3, 2012 at 12:38 pm

he he hhe.. is it? I would check it on mine now.. but even if they are intimate.. I guess they can be used on face.. right..? infact it would be better as they would be super soft and mild to use..

Rati June 3, 2012 at 10:06 am

i buy fresh ones every now and then. i find them convenient to carry since they come in a pastic box kinda thing. but these sounds nice too. guess i can keep a pack handy at home. :)

Surabhi June 3, 2012 at 12:35 pm

Yeah Rati.. I like them too for the fact that they are convenient to use, smell better and so compact! But Kara is also good.. easy to carry in a clutch as well..

Manu June 3, 2012 at 10:52 am

I’ve tried one of these…they dry out if you don’t use them for a while. I guess it’s the packaging. I think the wipes in boxes are probably better.

Reply

Surabhi June 3, 2012 at 12:35 pm

Yeah.. thats why I usually buy packs of 5 pcs..

hi surabhi, i tried the aloe and cucumber wipes…. sadly i got a very bad allergic reaction to it. Got red boils all over my face, even near the left eye. Hence i discontinued it. :(
