Catrice Eyeshadow Duo Miracle Heaven
I know I am very late, but thanks a lot to Rati and Tatjana for organizing such an amazing giveaway and especially Tatjana, the love with which she sent the package was very evident when I opened it 🙂
I was so delighted when I got this, agree or not, there is always a different charm about gifted things 😀 Catrice being a German brand is not available here in India, but we do get to know about it often from some people (read Kimi 😛 ). It seems to be quite an affordable brand with great quality, unlike the brands in India which keep hiking their prices for no reason.

I love the packaging ! It is so adorable and cute ,the transparent case with all the pink butterflies, plus its so small and sturdy that you can easily carry it in your bag anywhere . The lid is not fragile at all, once clicked close, it would not get loose and open up. I am thinking to find more of these online, I want to get all them . 😀
My Experience with Catrice Eyeshadow Duo Miracle Heaven:
Coming to this pretty eye shadow, I love it to bits. I never thought I could carry off a blue but this certainly made me more confident. There is no fallout after applying it whatsoever. The eye shadow on the left has fine shimmer, but it does not look too over the top when applied and also the shimmer does not get scattered everywhere. The shade on the right is a matte shade, it is more of a blue-black meets charcoal kind of a shade (yes, as you can see, I am pretty bad at explaining colours :/).
But the shades are exactly how it looks in the photographs. My camera surprisingly picked the right colours for the first time. Also, these eye shadows can even be used wet, so I sometimes just use the darker shade as a liner and it stays for a good 5-6 hours without smudging or fading.
I used these eye shadows last week when I went clubbing with the shimmery eye shadow all over the lid and the darker blue on the outer corner. It looked pretty good actually in the dim lights of the club 😀 The best thing is when you go clubbing, its so dark everywhere that nobody can actually see what you did with your eyes 😉

Pros of Catrice Eyeshadow Duo Miracle Heaven:
• They can be used dry as well as wet.
• Staying power is good, 3-4 hours without a primer when used dry and about 5-6 hours when used wet.
• The packaging is super pretty.
• The case is quite sturdy.
• It is nicely pigmented.
Cons of Catrice Eyeshadow Duo Miracle Heaven:
• Just one problem, its not available in India 🙁

Of course! These eyeshadows are amazing, you should definitely pick some if you can get hold of it. They are definitely worth giving a try.

I know how you feel Preetha… :(( …I was on swiss for more than a yr and never checked out makeup products as at that time i wasnt much into makeup and all 😀 so regret it right now ..wish I had grabbed catrice and essence products at that time..they are super cheap and quality is great too :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: I recently got tons of makeup products from swiss mainly from catrice and essence only 😉

Actually Switzerland is quite expensive in everything!! 😐 but Germany is kinda ok…for some brands..like Catrice, Essence, Astor, P2, Manhattan, ArtDeco and all…really great products and very nice prices…. For luxury brands I dont understand the pricing..seriously…I mean Chanel, EL, Dior and Lancome are like same what we get in India but other brands like Benefit, YSL, Sisheido, MAC they are horribly high in price…like almost double!! 😐
So, it is better to check the online reviews and compare the pricing before making your list..I usually plan to get things that are specific to Europe region only..like these Catrice products…Really Amazing!!!! 🙂 🙂

Arey nahi thats ok…actually even I have troubles getting drinking water there..especially in Europe….they don’t have normal drinking water at all..the way we have here…everything is carbonated….so even if I spend some money getting that water bottle..I get to drink something that is similar to soda water in India.. :(( So, now I only buy apple juice (again carbonated) there…atleast there is some nutrition and taste to it…and comes in same price!!
hehe..I carried tupperware water bottles everywhere..used to fill them from the hotels where we stayed..hubby used to drink nestea.. :yuck:
