This was part of a lovely makeup package a friend of mine sent from Delhi. Obviously, we both being lipstick fans, she sent me lipsticks mainly and some nail colors and this gorgeous eye pencil. I will be reviewing the lipsticks. I have already reviewed the Chambor Brisque Rose and the Chambor Flowing Lipstick in Garnet Rose. Reviewing two more gorgeous shades from The Body Shop and L’Oreal soon, which she has hand picked and sent across to me.
As for this pencil, its my first in Chambor and I must say I am surprised. I love it so much that perhaps I have to check out the others now. Remember the Glimmersticks from Avon, the ones with diamonds (that’s the name I mean), this remind of those, but then this one is top notch.
The pencil comes in a slim, twist-up style. The problem with this one is that once twisted up, it does not roll back, some thing like the Amway ones. In fact, I find it quite irritating, but not that I can give up on this beauty for that.
The pencil is a gorgeous grey-black with nicely packed shimmer. Its not like chunky glitter but nicely milled in the pencil itself. When it is applied, the shimmer shows up so pretty. On the hand, it would look as if the shade is just a grey silver, but on the eyes, it is very deep and almost black for me. In fact, so much so that I have to carefully choose my lipstick with this one. The lovely silver shimmer comes out so pretty on the eyes and not at all over the top.
Now the best part. The pencil does not smudge at all. I wore it to the “mighty humid” beach and for a day out, it did not smudge on my oily lids. Even on the hand, I tried to smudge it after 30 seconds, but it did not budge at all, may be some shimmer came here and there, but the deep grey color did not smudge at all.

Some may find the price and the quantity over the top, but I think it is totally worth it. There are some gorgeous shades in this range and for a long stay pencil, this is my next favourite to liquid liners. Please try to get yourself one.

deepa its like any other thick eye pencil so i dont know how this would be on different shapes of eyes
and if you think the shimmer dint show up much on my eyes, then yes you can try the black one for office 🙂
I love the black version of this which suffices as a kajal n eye pencil! IMO I think chambor is one of the best n underrated brands we have 🙂

Actually i bought one chambor eyeliner roll on pencil from life style.whenever i apply that, water is constantly flowing from my eyes. My eyes become so red and only after washing it off, i feel comfortable. Is anybody having the same problem?
