Miss Claire Eyeshadows – 0222, 0245 and 0953
Rs. 95 for 2 grams.
Available at: New Beauty Centre, Mumbai and Beauty Centre, Pune.
Remember my part one and part two articles on Miss Claire and I promise this one is the last which will make you lust after these and work against fate to look for a place that retails them , but these are too good to be ignored in my honest opinion, especially because of the price I paid for these and the smooth, soft and extremely pigmented eyeshadows that I have got in very cute, black, classy-looking pots and I can’t ask for anything more.
Now, if I have to make them work on an eye base due to my oily lids, I don’t mind at all because due to their soft texture, these do crease on me in three hours without a base, but the texture is to die for and why I hoarded these 7 at one go, here is the story.
Last year when I left Pune for Chennai, there came up a new Beauty Center just five minutes away from my apartment :waa: . So, just before I flew, I went to this Beauty Center and bought whatever unique I saw, and this my ladies; Miss Claire was one such discovery. The shopkeeper, a guy, showed me the most pretty-looking shadows in 95 rupees and my jaw dropped. So, I had to pick as many and leave as I would be away at Chennai thereafter, so I got 7!!!!!
Today, I am sharing with you guys the remaining three colors, which I think I have used enough to share them with you.
Miss Claire Eyeshadow 0222:
This is the only matte shade I picked up and there weren’t many as far as I remember, but I thought this would be a versatile color as it has some golden glitter, but in matte brown base, which may look like brick brown too. So, all in all, a very good color for crease too, contour and all over too. The gold sparkles do look very pretty, quite soft, but not as soft as the others.
Miss Claire 0245:
Oh my God, this is such a pretty color. I lust after it as I speak and it has shimmer in it and is metallic in finish. It’s a mauvy, beigy kind of color, something like a dupe of what I reviewed from L’oreal, the L’oreal color appeal eyeshadow last week. This one is softer than the L’oreal one and does not set, its very pigmented; high shine and I love the neutral color with sheen to it. This is so soft and blends like a dream and because of the texture, there is no fallout whatsoever, its a steal!
Miss Claire 0953:
One of my most favourite eyeshadows, I love this color as it is not overtly brick, but more like a copper and bronzy color, I would say more bronze kind of a color. Its very very very smooth and soft in texture, and pigmented. I wish I could show you how the texture is. This one has no glitter but has a metallic pearl kind of finish to it.
The more I sing in praise of these eyeshadows, the less it is. I am glad that I got seven because I don’t know when I would again be able to lay my hands on them. These come in cute pots which are good quality ones and sturdy. The eyeshadows themselves are top quality with literally no fallout. I love them so much and can’t pick out one favourite. These are soft, but don’t set and so they DO crease on me in two to three hours, but for what they are, I don’t mind using a good eye base for them. If you can, do get them! Yes, I am going to hoard more. If I could, I would stack them in a slim basket in a line!!!!
