Skin Type: Oily and Sensitive
I am trying to prepare my skin for the upcoming festive season these days, but my sickness has made it so difficult. That’s why I am trying to find some easy ways to get rid of those unwanted skin problems like acne spots, pigmentation and darkness. I am using this quick recipe with some easily available kitchen ingredients that work magically on skin without any side effects. Let’s get into the details.
You will need:
⦁ 1 ½ spoon of sweet lime
⦁ 3 tablespoons of tulsi tea or basil tea
⦁ 1 spoon of potato juice
⦁ 3-4 drops of peppermint oil
1. Prepare some organic tulsi tea and let it cool. Then take 3 tablespoons of the tea and add 1 spoon of potato juice to it and stir well.
2. Next, add 1½ spoons of sweet lime juice to it and mix everything nicely.
3. Finally add a few drops of peppermint oil to it. You can also use tea tree oil.
4. Combine all the ingredients nicely and your mask is ready now.
⦁ As the consistency is very thin, you can’t use it directly on your face. So it is better that you use this with the help of a face sheet or a facial wipe.
⦁ Take a fresh facial wipe or a face sheet mask and dip it into this mixture (directly in the bowl) and keep that bowl in the refrigerator for around 5 minutes.
⦁ Now apply the wipe or sheet on the face and place it nicely on your face so that it covers your whole face properly. I use two wipes to cover my face and neck.
⦁ Keep the mask on for around 15-20 minutes and then gently remove the sheet.
⦁ Massage the remaining juice on your face and then rinse it.
⦁ Sweet Lime: Sweet lime contains so many nutrients in it, especially Vitamin C and A. It helps lighten dark spots and blemishes naturally like a natural bleaching agent. It also evens out the skin tone. It acts as a cleansing agent that effectively works on pigmentation. It detoxifies the skin and makes skin brighter and glowy.
⦁ Tulsi Tea: Tulsi is the most useful herb for skin care. The antioxidants present in tulsi tea make skin glowy and healthy. This tea acts as a soothing, purifying and healing toner. It works best to eliminates pimples, acne and other skin infections. It also lightens up dark spots and dull skin. It controls oil and keeps skin young, fresh and wrinkle- free.
⦁ Potato Juice: Potato is rich in Vitamin C. It helps lighten dark spots and makes skin clear. It also acts as an anti-ageing ingredient and maintains skin’s health. It effectively removes blemishes, sunburn and makes skin bright.
⦁ Peppermint Oil: Its super fresh fragrance makes skin fresh and active. It provides a soothing effect to the skin. It reduces headache and relaxes the skin. It also works on pimples and spots.
