Today’s review is going to be about liquid eyeliner. I like pencil and gel eyeliner a lot but I love liquid eyeliners. My journey with liners started with a liquid eyeliner and after then I have experimented with so many different types, but for that perfect winged eyeliner I do need a liquid liner. The shade I am reviewing today is a very wearable and beautiful shade, it gives a good change from regular black eyeliner but at the same time does not look too bright and over the top and is apt for work as well. I always wanted to try the Maybelline gel eyeliner in eggplant, but it is not available in India, and when I tried this one at the store it is extremely similar.
Product Description: Liquid formulation used to enhance, shape and draw attention to the eye. Does not run or smudge easily. Choose from a brush or felt tip based on your personal preference in application.
Price: Rs 299 for 5.5 ml
My Experience with Faces Canada Liquid Eyeliner Plum 19:
I got attracted to the packaging itself first, and then I tried it. It comes in transparent and silver tube with a shiny metallic cap, with all the ingredients mentioned on it, it looks classy. It is sturdy and travel friendly. The lid is comfortable to hold in hands and the brush inside is fine just like a felt tip applicator and makes extremely thin precise lines. A single stroke gives a good thin application. One can also make thick eyeliner by lining two to three times. The handle although is slightly long and some may not find it easy to work with.
The color is a beautiful plum shade will look very flattering on all Indian skin tones. In the tube itself it looks shimmery, but the shimmer is not at all large or chunky. When applied it gives a satin finish and does not look shimmery at all. It is not too light or bright and is a perfect shade and very wearable option for office wear. It is available in different shades. The pigmentation is excellent, one stroke gives opaque color payoff, but as I like a medium thick liner look I build up with two to three strokes. The smell is not at all strong, and almost nonexistent.
The texture is different from the regular liquid liners. Although it is a liquid liner the consistency is not at all thin and runny, it is rather of medium thick consistency. It dries almost immediately, which is what I love about it. Once it dries completely it is totally smudge proof, believe me I have tried it rubbing of my arm and it did not budge. And stays for a good 7-8 hours on my oily eyelids without flaking, after which it fades slightly. It is water resistant but not water proof, when I tried splashing water on it came of slightly and when wiped with a moist cotton pad it comes of easily. But I guess this is common with all liquid liners. The only problem for me is the long handle, but I anyways do not apply any liquid liner with the handle attached, I always use a separate brush or else all my lashes also get coated with the liquid liner It has never irritated my eyes, since the past week I have been using it almost daily instead my black liner.
Pros of Faces Canada Liquid Eyeliner Plum 19:

• Highly pigmented in single stroke
• Gives a thin precise application
• Dries quickly
• Does not smudge or flake even after rubbing
• Reasonably priced
• Comes in different colors
Cons of Faces Canada Liquid Eyeliner Plum 19:
