Homemade Face Pack For Summer: Do It Yourself

Hello girls,

These days are pretty difficult for me because there is a lot of heat which is making me very dull physically and mentally.  Well, if the summers are effecting on us so horribly, then definitely our skin is going to show it . To avoid this, we usually go for face packs and we always want them to be very good in quality.  Usually, these type of packs are very expensive.  Today, I want to share how to make a very effective face pack.

We all are aware of the goodness of oats and know that they are a rich sources of fiber, omega-3 fatty acids, thiamine, iron, beta-glucan (which may help regulate blood sugar) and the antioxidants known as avenanthramides (which may help promote healthy circulation). Oat meal is also believed to help reduce harmful cholesterol levels and it may boost the immune system.  It has so many other uses besides filling up our tummys :p  Oats can be great for exfoliating and it is very good for the skin.  So, here we go.  Let’s use oats on our faces and get that radiant glow.

Oats and Tomato Face Pack:

Stuff Needed:

1. 2 tablespoons of oats, grind in a mixer into a fine powder.

2. ½ tomato.
3. ½ tablespoon chilled rose water.

Step-By-Step Method:

Step 1:

Grind the tomato in mixer or food processor and make a puree.


Step 2:

Add this puree to oats.

Step 3:

Add rose water and mix it well.  Make a thick paste.

Oatmeal face pack

Apply this paste all over your face and neck.  Make sure you wash your face with lukewarm water before applying this pack because lukewarm water opens the pores of our skin and the pack will be absorbed more effectively.  This pack contains goodness of oats and tomatoes. Tomatoes are used to clean our skin and remove the dirt from the pores and oat is a great exfoliating substance.  No doubt this pack is of great help for our skin in this summer.  This face pack is good for all skin types.

Benefits of this face pack:

1.Oats will remove dead cells from your skin.
2.Tomatoes will remove the dirt and oil from your pores.
3. Rose water will give the freshness to your skin and will give a nice cooling sensation to your skin.
4. Regular use of this face pack will remove tan and keep your skin fresh and healthy throughout the summer.

    1. oats are so healthy and and tasty if you will cook oats in water and then add chopped onion tomatoes chilies and masala of paneer or chicken ( veg or non veg types masalas ) just tooo yummy … in short buy lots of oats and experiment wid dem 😉 🙂 .. i guess we can make roties of oat meal also 😉 *happy dance* *happy dance*

        1. i suggest you to not to go for those packed flavoured ones.. instead of that make freshly at home by adding your fav masalas .. coz packed ones contain preservatives wich almost kill the nutritive value of oats 🙂
