MAC Fleur Power Blush Review

Fleur Power settled into a nice light pink shade which suited me so right! It wasn’t baby-pink like cute-pink, but more like outstanding-pink, like a statement-pink! And I was relieved.

NARS Orgasm Blush Review, Photos, Swatches

NARS Orgasm makes cheeks blush a perfect pinky-peach flush and subtly highlights with accents of golden shimmer. The perennially pleasing, universally flattering shade is again and again a makeup artist and beauty editor favorite.

NYX Blush Mocha Review, Photos, Swatches

NYX Powder blush Mocha is dusty pink colour with yellow undertones. Mocha is matte, madly pigmented and blends superbly with my skin tone.

Maybelline Dream Mousse blush in ‘Soft Plum’

Though the name says Soft Plum I feel it give a more pinkish finish to my cheeks rather than plum.

Maybelline Expert Wear Blush Review – Berry Sorbet

Maybelline Expert Wear blush was the first blush I laid my eyes on during this visit. Just like that, I picked it up and read what the pack had to say. And lo and behold! The blush claimed to be oil-free, non-pore-clogging and dermatologist tested! Boy, was that my lucky day or what? Not only that, the blush also claimed to be “a stay-true cheek colour that doesn’t fade or change and has a silky smooth texture that blends easily and wears evenly”.

The Body Shop Tailored Cheek Tint Hot Pink Photos, Swatches

The product itself looks transparent but when applied on the skin, it gives a hot pink flush without leaving any stickiness or greasiness behind. Excellent for all skin types and skin tones. If you are looking for a long stay blush option, you might want to give this a try.

VOV Professional Trio Blusher in 01 Review

Choice of three shades. I like that I get 3 different shades in one compact. A pink, a peach and an orangish coral type. This is good for traveling since you get 3 blushes in one palette.

Estee Lauder Signature Blush in Tender Petal

It’s a very pale pink blush. No shimmer but pigmented enough to give that morning natural glow to your cheeks. The texture is like silk. It is a buildable blush. good for fair skin tones.

Colorbar Blush Peachy rose / Cosmic rose

Cosmic Rose:This is where my love for Colorbar’s blushes started. It a light pink colour blush and would look very pretty on people who have a fair and pinkish complexion. Non glittery.

Avon Smooth Mineral Blush in Perfect Plum Review

I am really impressed with the quality of this blush. It’s build able but doesn’t look cakey like other mineral blushes when you layer them. This gives me an effortless light pink look without looking unnatural.

MaxFactor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush Review, Swatches

I have this in Soft Cardinal. It’s a beautiful pinky coral with a very slight frost, which lends cheeks a healthy glow. This has a great creamy texture. It’s like a lipstick in a pot. In fact, it makes quite a nice lipstick. It looks equally nice on its own or topped with a gloss.

Street Wear Mineral Blush Rose Swirl Review

It is waterproof and absolutely sweatproof. Gives a beautiful natural rosy color. It’s non-comedogenic, doesn’t clog pores and did not break me even once.

NYX Rouge Cream Blush in Glow Review

My first bright color cream blush was NYX Glow(Rs 650). It looks awesome deep pink in the pan.

NYX Rouge Cream Blush Review – Natural

The colour Natural is a peachy pink colour that gives a very natural blush on your cheeks. Although I feel this wouldn’t be a suitable colour for people with dark complexions

NYX Rouge Cream Blush in Boho Chic Review

I got Boho Chic (Rs 650) next, it is a nice pale pink shade with subtle silver glitter which gives you a nice dewy natural look. The shade is somewhat like NYX Natural shade but with micro glitter.

MAC Briar Rose Beauty Powder Review, Swatches: Venomous Villains

Briar rose is a cool toned pink beauty powder with lavender undertones. It has a satiny finish to it. It is the blush for those days when your face looks dull and you want the dewy glow on your cheeks. That’s exactly the kind of finish it gives .

  1. rati, i have a request for you….pls cater to it, if possible…
i have lakme trio earth blush this seems to be a good budget blush and i use it pretty well also, but somehw i dont think i am using each of the 3 blushes that well…

can you please put a tute explaining of how it can be used, i mean all the 3 blushes, also pls show me the brushes that you use…as they have not provided any brush…and i am not sure if what i am doing is correct :worship: :worship:

also do you think a bronzer is required when i have this blush….i am not a regular makeup person…

had posted this in your eyeshadow wala tute, but i was sure you would be way too overwhelmed with work so put in here

    1. This one no… https://makeupandbeauty.com/lakme-earth-rose-blush-trio-review-swatches/

You’d have to use smaller brushes to pick it up and then your regular blush brushes to blend it.

Okay let’s go one by one. 😀

      1. if you are planning to use the brown part as a means to contour, then i guess this is not the right product. It has sheen to it and it is best used as blush. Contouring is basically cutting “the not so pretty” parts of your face using makeup products . let’s say if you have a double chin and if you apply a matte brown blush / bronzer there, it would give an illusion of “no double chin”..if that makes sense. 😛 if you have a broader face, you apply matte bronzer on the sides of your face to slim it down. Now if you are using a bronzer with a sheen , it would only highlight your “the not so pretty”features than actually contour them.

      2. You can sweep either all three and get a nice goldenish peachy shade and use each one of it using a fluffy eyeshadow brush such as shown here : https://makeupandbeauty.com/how-to-highlight-your-face-photo-tutorial/

and you can apply the pink blush on the cheek plane as shown here : https://makeupandbeauty.com/how-to-apply-blush/

Highlighter -(golden one) right above where you have applied blush–then blend the two so that no edges are to be seen.

Now the brown blush in the palette can be used to apply on the cheeks, on the sides of the temple to give that sunkissed bronzed look. Use it with a highlighter.

Another thing you can do is the you press the bristles of your blush brush using your fingers, make it tapered. this way the you’d be able to pick each shade separately and use it accordingly.

it’s actually a good blush. you have pinks, peach, gold, and bronze all in one.

      Hope that helps. 🙂

    2. I dont have that blush rentu. Bt if the brown part has a sheen to it. It is best not used as a contouring product. But you cna do that bronze goddess look with it. 😀

  2. so many blushes to choose from and I HAD to pick up the Revlon roll on thing 2 days ago.. :headbang: :headbang: just btw, it gives a nice pink glow..it dosent stay on for too long. gotta redo after about 3 hours..also depends on how dark one has applied it. Mine was not very dark. I put it on at about 9..i saw myself in the mirror at abt 12 and there was nothing left.

        1. oh!! bt cheek artist is kinda nice.. i have the peach one . you know you can top it with powder blush and it would stay on longer. hihihiih it looks like a roll only. no doubt you got confused. :rotfl:
