Creamy Fluid Texture: Leads to incredibly light Enhanced skin
Vitamin B3: Prevents dark spots and give UV Protection and fairer looking skin
Vitamin Cg: Acts as an Anti oxidant to prevent dullness of skin and limits pigment production.
Apply this serum by itself or before your daily care, morning or evening, on your freshly cleansed face and neck. The light formula penetrates your skin leaving it intensely hydrated and incomparably silky and soft to touch. For best results, follow with Luminize Day Cream.
Innovation: LUMI-GENTM TECHNOLOGY
After 10 years of research, L’Oréal scientists have cracked the code to more even, luminous skin by discovering a specific set of genes that are responsible for correcting discolourations and enhancing skin’s luminosity. Introducing: Lumi-GenTM technology, which regulates the skin’s pigmentation to reduce the appearance of skin tone imperfections.
My Experience with L’oreal Paris Dermo-Expertise Youth Code Luminize Super Serum:
It has been more than three months since I am using this serum and it is the best time to review it. It is a pearly white light textured serum in a glass bottle with a pump dispenser. The glass bottle has metallic silver plastic cover. The head of the dispenser needs to be turned right to unlock and towards left to lock. It has a slightly strong citrusy floral fragrance that fades away after sometime.
I have a combination oily skin and a few acne spots. I use this serum twice a day. Around 1 pump is enough for my face and neck. As it is summer time, my skin finds little hard to soak it up and becomes greasy very soon. I don’t use a toner before its application and don’t find the need to use a moisturizer afterwards. For the first 4 weeks I didn’t see any visible difference but after the 6th week I realized that the texture of my skin had improved a lot, it felt more even and was illuminating and the red spots had also reduced a lot but there was no change in the pore size.
This serum is for normal/combination to dry skin type. I would not recommend this to people with oily skin. I guess winters will be the best time for me to use it. As the bottle is opaque it is hard to know how much has been used.
Pros of L’oreal Paris Dermo-Expertise Youth Code Luminize Super Serum:
• Sturdy packaging.
• A little goes long ways.
• Light in texture.
• Diminishes red spots.
• Evens and brightens skin texture.
Cons of L’oreal Paris Dermo-Expertise Youth Code Luminize Super Serum
• Doesn’t reduce pore size (it doesn’t claim to do so, I wish it did).
• Difficult to know the quantity used/left as the bottle is opaque.
