L’Oreal Glam Shine 6 Hours Lip Gloss 209 Irresistible Grape

I had got these free when I purchased the L’Oreal Metamorphose foundation and L’Oreal True Match Blush from Shopper’s Stop. I had many pink and red glosses, but none in purple, so thought of giving this a try.
Packaging:
This gloss comes in a classy, long, transparent bottle with a silver cap. The name of the shade is printed at the bottom, but since it is transparent, one doesn’t even need to read the name of the shade to find it.
Pocket Pinch:
This gloss is slightly pricey at Rs. 799 for 6 ml.
Fragrance:
This gloss has a strong fruity fragrance to it which I somehow don’t like.
Wand:
The wand is sort of heart shaped and slightly tilted.
My Experience with Loreal Paris Glam Shine 6H Gloss Brilliance Lip Gloss – 209 Irresistible Grape:
This gloss is a beautiful pinkish-purple sort of color. It has blue shimmer in it which is not over the top. The shimmer particles are so small that they look like a part of the gloss itself. On application, the blue shimmer is not very visible. The gloss is very pigmented and opaque. You don’t need to apply any lipstick under the gloss. L’Oreal claims that this gloss stays for 6 hours, but that’s not true. It stays for 3-4 hours with food and drinks and then fades away, otherwise this does stay for 5 hours.
Compared to other glosses, this does not completely fade away. There is still some color on the lips, just like a lipstick. The heart-shaped wand does not benefit in ease of application. In fact for people with thin lips, this might be a problem. The wand needs to be dipped in the bottle two times to cover the entire lips. I wouldn’t use this gloss every day, but for parties and other occasions, a definite yes.

- Good pigmentation.
- Very good staying power.
- Has shimmer which is ultra-minute and not over the top.
- Has shelf life of 3 years.
- Transparent bottle, easy to find the shade.
- Highly pigmented.
- Heart-shaped wand gives it uniqueness.
Cons of L’Oreal Glam Shine 6 Hours Lip Gloss 209 Irresistible Grape:
- Expensive.
- Does not stay for 6 hours as claimed.
Will I Buy L’Oreal Glam Shine 6 Hours Lip Gloss 209 Irresistible Grape Again?
Not the same shade, but a different one definitely.

mee to have one, it was a gift and i like it a lot, only problem i had was stickiness…
but kumkum..this one is not that sticky compared to other glosses…. 🙂

oh…i havent check on lakme products off late….will do so now…cuz i think lakme will be comparatively reasonable… :))

I bought my glam shine, found it too pricey when I got it, But its really worth the price.
