What I like about Lotus Herbals Whiteglow Deep Cleansing
Skin Whitening Facial Foam
- It leaves skin squeaky clean and removes all dirt from the face. Your skin feels quite fresh after you wash your face with this facial foam.
- It has a mild fragrance, which I like.
- The tube packaging is really nice and lightweight. It’s easier to carry around.
- Has not broken me out.
- It lathers pretty well. Although I am not too keen on the lather part but a few people prefer that.
What I don’t like about Lotus Herbals Whiteglow Skin Whitening Deep Cleansing Facial Foam :
- It leaves that slippery feeling behind and I keep rubbing my face until it gets over.
- It dries my skin more than I prefer. In fact, sometimes I feel it strips off complete moisture from my face and I need a heavy lotion to combat the dryness. Definitely not for people with normal to dry skin.
- It contains parabens as preservatives.
- Lotus being a herbal brand I would have preferred it to be soap free.
- The consistency of the facial foam is quite runny so I always end up taking out more product than required.

Overall , it is my least favourite product from the range. May be good or oily to combination skin but people with dry skin, I suggest that you stay away from this.

I allready had purchased the below coz i intended to use them weekly (sunday k sunday), when the range was launched –
1) Whitening Facial Foam (Rs 95 for 50 gm)
2) Oatmeal & Yogurt Skin Whitening Scrub (Rs 145 for 100 gm)
3) Yogurt Skin Whitening & Brightening Masque (Rs 145 for 80 gm)
N was happy with the results, even tried it on hubby n MiL n they too were happy.
Cd’nt control myself when saw the below Whiteglow Kit on FnY @ Rs. 619/- (instead of MRP of Rs. 825/-). hv ordered the kit today n few mins aftr that the kit was allready sold out.
1. WHITEGLOW Masque, 80 gms, Rs. 145
2. WHITEGLOW Gel Creme SPF-25 PA+++ , 60 gms, Rs 260
3. WHITEGLOW Micro-Emulsion SPF-25 PA+++ , 40 ml, Rs 225
4. WHITEGLOW Serum, 15 ml, Rs 195
Also ordered – LOTUS Rosy Blush Divine Sindoor – Rs. 86 (instead of Rs. 115)
Now awaiting delivery of the same.

I think all whitening facewash makes skin dry, even with my diorsnow sublissime :struggle: dunno why 😛

i dint like it much Rati..as you said rightly it feels slippery, n makes skin dry too, though i have oily skin.i like their tea tree face wash better..new office is good, training going on…schedule is quite tight so not getting time to come online! 🙁

I expected some description of its brightening effect too.. whether or not it is effective.. since it claims to be a whitening facial foam..!! the review seems incomplete without those details. 🙂
