Today I’ll be reviewing Coloressence Eye and lip pencil in Brown Town. I was surprised to see that I missed this one. I’ve been loving my Coloressence pencils so much! I use them daily to college and it stays put till I clean it off before going to bed. When I saw this colour, I picked it up blindly knowing that I will love this one too. Let’s get started with the review!

My Experience With Coloressence Waterproof Smudge Free Brown Town Eye & Lip Liner Pencil:

Packaging: Classic packaging of cardboard and plastic. The pencil is made of wood. It looks like it’s the retractable one, but it’s not. It needs to be sharpened. The body is the same colour as that of the product. It’s brown in colour with the details printed on the pencil in silver. It’s easy to locate in your stash. The pencil is covered with very tight plastic wrapped around it which is tough to remove. It’s so tight that it bent the plastic cap. All in all, it’s sleek and travel friendly.

Colour/Pigmentation: It’s a lovely warm brown shade that would suit all the skin tones. The pigmentation is good. It’s buildable for those who want a really bold pout. Two swipes are needed to cover up the lips or your waterline. If you want an intense chocolate shade then you can totally build it up to your liking.

Texture: It glides easily on the eye lids however, it tugs on the lips. It’s not creamy. It’s a bit dry when you use it as a lip pencil. A balm solves that part though. It sets to a matte finish. After it sets, (it requires about 20-30 seconds to set) it cannot be smudged at all. That’s a plus. It doesn’t transfer too!

Staying Power: These pencils are known for their amazing staying power. It stays on like forever. I put this liner on my waterline at 7 am, and till I come back home from college, about 7 pm, it was still there. It stayed till 10pm! I had to remove it with some almond oil! It doesn’t fade much. It stays put for 8+ hours easily. If you are using only the lip pencil without anything over it, it’ll survive a couple meals. And it’s waterproof too!

Final Verdict:
I will keep repurchasing them again and again! It’s my holy grail eye pencil. I own all the colours and I’m too happy to use them over and over again! It’s a must buy! 😀
