My experience with Himalaya Herbals Refreshing Cleansing Milk
This is my first product from Himalaya Herbals. I was looking for a nice cleansing milk to remove make-up and my search was over with Himalaya Herbals Refreshing Cleansing Milk. It is a perfect cleansing milk for everyday use. It has a nice creamy texture that of a moisturizing lotion; and it is good. I use it directly on my skin. I massage it for some time and then wipe it off, leaving my skin super clean. It has a nice after use moisturising effect leaving your skin soft and supple, so is a perfect buy for winters. It does not break me out at all.

It is a mild herbal cleanser and does a decent job at removing dirt and make-up, especially the eye make-up. It even removes the last traces of kajal & eye liners effectively without stinging my eyes. It removes almost all the make-up just in a single swipe.

As you can see below:

It has a mild, pleasant fragrance. It has menthol and has subtle cooling effect which I like. The product comes in a white bottle with a sturdy flip cap. It is easy to carry around while travelling.
In all it is an awesome cleanser from Himalaya herbals. I am totally addicted to this product and I will keep repurchasing it. I don’t think there is anything as good and cheap as this product.
It is definitely my HG cleansing milk

    1. Yeah….Himalaya herbals do seem a good brand…although this is my first product from this brand…will try more now

You do give this one a try!!

  1. Is it oily ?? Because I have sensitive and acne prone skin 🙁 I often gets break outs if I put anything oily on my face 🙁 I know Himalaya products does good job! But it seems a nice product..

    1. No Shilpa…atleast I did not find it oily…it does not break out at all in my case…although not sure about sensitive skin…:( 🙁

  2. a point of dissent… it stings my eyes horribly… so i can’t use it to remove eye makeup…and the label mentions – avoid contact with eyes ..:)

    1. oh is it….see it does not sting my eyes at all, (when a lil amount gets into your eyes at the time of removing eye makeup)..but one should be def careful while using it on eyes…

  3. i agree with the above comment … it stings my eyes REALLY bad and i can’t use it as a eye makeup remover 🙁
used this to remove the eyeconic kajal and it needed 3-4 swipes to remove the kajal completely from the lower lash line. i used to lose few lashes every time i used this:/ :/ stopped using this one.. :/
i use Johnson’s baby oil now and everything is awesome..

  4. I had a horrible experience with this.. I used it daily at night to take off traces of my kajal and in a few days I developed a horrible rash around my eyes. The skin was constantly peeling and itching and since it was so close to my eyes I panicked. Dumped the bottle and ended up buying a Nivea one instead.. And the funny part is, I don’t have sensitive skin! 🙁
