These clear Boots Stacking Travel Pots are ideal when you can’t do without your favourite products on the plane.  (Though I got them for a different purpose altogether 😀 )  Needless to say, I am still unboxing my England haul :preen: and I discovered a fantastic thing recently.

I found these last two stacking pots in Boots and I picked up both! The sole reason being that I needed such small containers for my broken lipsticks. I needed to fix them somehow (only the good shades, the Elle 18 ones needed to be thrown away instantly :smug: ).  All my pretty NYX shades always break when I apply them with all the zeal and fervour I have for lipsticks 😆 and they are so creamy, they have to melt and break all the time :struggle: and I have learnt my lesson and now I always use the NYX round lipsticks with a soft brush :haanji:

So, I found these very interesting pots and spray bottles in Boots and I immediately picked up two of these pots and one travel spray bottle to keep rose water handy or maybe plain water in my purse, especially for flights when you land up bloated (you bet, you should have seen how my face doubled in Manchester).

These pots will remind you of the Faces Stackable Eyeshadows and lip balms and glitter pots, very easy to use, so convenient where you get so many shades together.  Similarly, all my favourite lipsticks due to “usage break” end up here in one of the stacks which makes them so usable and handy too considering I can use a lip brush for them.

I use my shattered eye shadows as suggested by Rati by pressing them into powder and then storing them into one of the stacks.  It gets so easy to use them and then I just pick them up in the brush, tap the brush in the pot itself and use it, simple

All broken eye shadows go in one pot if I want, but only the ones worthy of it, like one NYX, another mineral one from Autralis and one shadow I broke from the 88 palette.

The broken lipsticks go into the pot in one piece through a clean stick or whatever clean thing you can find to scrape the lipstick out of its tube.

I even mixed up two of them together 😀 (NYX Milan and Heather) into one pot and microwaved them for two minutes or so. Don’t let it boil for sure and monitor it and see it doesn’t change its texture at all. It should just melt and come out melted in an even layer or so. Let it cool down and use as usual with a lip brush.

You can even label what you put into each pot like I did because I have tonnes of NYX Round Lipsticks that I love to death and need to keep a track of the names lest I buy a similar shade :stars:

The only problem is that it just has one lid and unlike single lip balm pots, you can’t take it individually, so you just have to store it at home, but nevertheless, its a fantastic storage option and ideal for melting your broken lipsticks in.
