Smashbox Photo Finish Oil Free Foundation Primer Review

Hello People! :D

I have been away for a sinfully long amount of time! But I’m back! :D  I recently celebrated my 19th birthday and this primer is among my haul purchases (haul pictures coming up soon! :D )  How are you all? I missed you guys so much! I have been lurking around silently, reading articles every single day, and finally, I start posting again. :D

Smashbox Photo Finish Oil Free Foundation Primer Review

Product Description:

“Create a perfect canvas for foundation application with this silky, lightweight blend of vitamins A and E, grape seed extract and green tea, Worn alone or under foundation to increase longevity, our best-selling primer helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and pores for flawless skin with a velvety-smooth finish. Oil-Free.”

Price:

Don’t really remember, but I think around Rs. 2000.

Oil Free Primer 1

My Experience with Smashbox Photo Finish Oil Free Foundation Primer:

Well, I knew the basic makeup – eyeliner, basic smokey eye, and glossy lips! After IMBB, I finally started understanding makeup better and I started exploring, and finally decided that I will learn best if I actually practice, so the haul-ing began! :D This primer was the result of one such haul.

It comes in a clear, sturdy, plastic bottle. Simple, no-fuss, and classy packaging with a pump dispenser. Thumbs UP! :D The pump dispenses a tiny, pea-sized amount which, believe it or not, is just the right amount for the whole face! Any more, and you would end up looking like a sweaty pig!

Oil Free Primer 2

Its a creamy, but not creamy (?) :O gel kind of thingy. I can’t even describe it because it has a good creamy consistency, but no creamy feel. In short, a DREAM. :D . Its like, rubbing pearls on my face! :D I have normal skin, so I can’t really comment on the oil control property, but it definitely didn’t exaggerate any oiliness. It helps my makeup go on so smoothly, and stay on so well!

Oil Free Primer 3

Pros of Smashbox Photo Finish Oil Free Foundation Primer:

  • Pump dispenser, so hygienic.
  • Will last a long time.
  • Makes make up application smoother.
  • Makeup stays on LONGER.
  • Doesn’t melt off in the heat.
  • SPF! :D

Cons of Smashbox Photo Finish Oil Free Foundation Primer:

  • Silicones :(

IMBB Rating:

5/5 :D

I’m guessing mostly all primers are silicone based :( too faced is not do try that :)
but I like this one. I use this for special outings – specially summers

Likes its classy packaging.. I have a dry skin so doesnt really require primers but in summers it will really help.. Now 5/5 is temptingg.. gotta give this a try.. :)

This stuff is the best, but it has wayyyy to many ‘cones :(
Agree with Bee, most good primers have silicones!
