Directions For Use:
Dispense onto fingertips or onto cotton ball and gently massage over closed eyes. Can also be used on face for makeup removal. Tissue off product for maximum hydration.
My Experience with Neutrogena Eye Makeup Remover Lotion:
I normally hate Neutrogena products. Every time I have tried their face washes, they have irritated or dried out my skin, but I urgently required an eye makeup remover and this was the only one available on that particular day.
This product quickly and easily removed all of my eye makeup and left the eye area soft, without a greasy residue. It works perfectly for non-waterproof mascara and adequately for waterproof mascara. I usually apply it twice for waterproof mascara. I find it works best when applied with a tissue rather than using my fingers, and holding the tissue with the product on my lashes for a few seconds to soften the mascara before wiping it off to get all the mascara off without yanking out any eyelashes.
I love the fact that it has never irritated or burned my eyes even if a little product gets in them, but it turns your vision a little hazy for a little while, so I wouldn’t recommend using this while wearing contact lens unless you want a film developing on them. You can even use this to remove kajal from your waterline which I find is the most irritating part of makeup removal routine. Just try using this on the Q tip and gently cleaning the waterline.
I love the packaging. It has such a soothing blue color and very soothing fragrance too and the flip top cap is very hygienic. Overall, a great product.
Pros of Neutrogena Eye Makeup Remover Lotion:
- Leaves eye area supple and moisturized.
- Does not irritate the eyes.
- Not messy.
- Easy to use.
- Can also be used to remove face makeup.
Cons of Neutrogena Eye Makeup Remover Lotion:
- No fragrance free.
- Contains loads of chemicals including parabens.
- Does not work really great on waterproof makeup.

i always use plain coconut oil for removing makeup, that works for water proof make up too 🙂 anyway, great review dear 🙂
thanks for this tip Aparajita.
Thnks for the tip.. I myt opt for this once this gets product gets over..
I wish this was available here too..there is another variant from nuetrogene eyemakeup remover which is in liquid form and heard its fab too!
Ihave read reviews on that one too..apparently even though that is good this is better bcoz this is in a creamy form which males it less messy
For me the M*aybelline eye makeup remover works like magic! But lately I have started using olive oil for removal of makeup and then I apply a thin layer of castor oil around the eye area for hydration, works really well 🙂
This one looks like an ok product if you have to apply it twice 🙁
I agree natural stuff is always better.. U can never fully escape the chemicals if you use products..see even though this is an eye product still contains so many parabens..wch kinda makes me scared to use it everytym
Good review, Neha. And my God, you have pretty hands! 😀 Mine are so full of blue-ish veins that it looks like I am 80. 😛 Anyhoo, I am glad that I always use almond, olive or coconut oils for removing all kinds of make-up. Otherwise, I’d have raised a hue and cry here about yet another awesome product that we are missing on due to it being unavailable in India. 😛
Aww thnk u Jabberwocky.. Ur hands mut also becoming lyk that due to exposure to sun..be sure to use sunscreen on them too..
After reading all ur suggestions im thinking on switching to more natural stuff too..
I luv Baby oil for removal of makeup!
