Rimmel London Pink Rose

:woot: I am so happy to share this blush post with our readers and friends today because I have totally head-over-heels fallen for this blush, the texture, color, pigmentation, size, everything :yahoo:, just everything about this blush makes it perfect for me and my skin type and skin tone (oily skin, fair to medium).  Sometimes, I feel I do a fantabulous job at picking up makeup which is just so good even when I am in a hurry and have my hands full:haanji: 😀

I got this one from UK of course, from some random shop 😛 as I had to try Rimmel, mainly stuff that I would use, but I barely got Rimmel as I lost my mind after I went to Superdrug and when I saw the brands there :stars:

Anyway, coming back to this gorgeous blush; it is light pink with a sheen to it.  There is no shimmer, no glitter, not matte, but a pretty sheen to it which looks like the skin is glowing.  The texture is very soft and smooth and glides on the face without looking patchy. It also blends like a dream for a soft glow. It is just perfect for day wear, even to office, and it has that just-there-look to it, where you would keep people guessing whether you are wearing a blush or not :D.

Rimmel London

For me, its perfect as I have broken caps on my face which makes it look a little pink, so this pink makes it perfectly natural and the glow comes through due to the sheen in it.

On the other hand, the sheen is not so overt as to make pores look bad, or oily skin look shiny.  It’s a very very soft glow and the pink in it is also very light. The catch is that if you really want your blush to show, you may have to layer this color on because when you blend it, only some hint of pink is left, but that’s the very fact that it makes it a daytime wear blush.

Rimmel London Blush

I don’t think it will suit darker skin beauties, as it may look little too light for them (please correct me if I am wrong), its only for lighter skin tones with little pink undertones.

The size of the container took me by a surprise as it is so tiny, almost looks like a blush case.  Thank God, there is no applicator included in it and the blush is just the perfect size for me as those huge blushes with mirrors and applicators and the same amount of the product beside it are a little cumbersome. This quantity is perfect and the case is tiny and can be carried around easily, though the tiny size may be a problem when you try to swipe in a huge blush brush, but it is very easy to apply with finger tips too.

It is very decently pigmented though I did find that due to its light color, it did not last on me for more than two hours (not a problem for me), but just giving you a heads up, do try to use it over some matte base to make it last longer.

Last Word on Rimmel London Powder Blush in Pink Rose 004:

I am so much in love with this natural-looking blush that I am actually looking out in the market for getting some more exact or similar shades. Soft, natural, tiny, sheen and perfect for day wear; I don’t want anything else out of a blush, Rimmel makes some nice blushes overall.

Do I Recommend Rimmel London Powder Blush in Pink Rose 004:

Most definitely I do, but not to dusky beauties though, it’s an excellent blush for any day for a naturally glowy skin.
