Notd Violet, Plum and Purple Nail Paints
Revlon passionate purple, avon pretty plum , avon violetta and avon vivid violet
I just want to show you guys my purple and plum nail colors today. Most of these are recent acquisitions which I bought in the previous two months when avon released their 5 matte and 6 neon nail colors . Avon came up with matte nail colors like red velvet, violetta, grey cement, inky blue and black. The neon ones were sunshine which is a canary yellow almost , blue shock, coral beat and a matte purple. I came across most of them and the maximum that my frends took from me was red velvet. But I really fell for one of these called violetta which is a matte purple. I got another vivid violet as well and the pretty plum is from a separate range called simply pretty . ramya ordered the pretty plum and that’s when I fell for the pretty plum as well. It’s a gorgeous shimmery silvery purple . Its love at first sight . apart from that I have a purple from Revlon which I got a year back I believe and it has a superb shelf life as its still almost new
Avon pretty plum:
This is a 5 ml tiny bottle from Avon’s simply pretty range and is offered at 55rs each. Mostly they are out on offers for 109 for three. The nail paints are amazing for the price and the variety of colors they offer and are superb in finish and they offer creams, shimmers, glossy finish one and a lot of variants even for a single color like red and maroons, they have around 5 maroons like moody maroons, truly maroon, maroon magic, luscious cherry and so on . They even have glittery black which is super as top coat on any nail paint preferably dark and they have a frosty blue and a creamy black too. My favourites are the pinks like pink kisses, pink fantasy, pink crush being my most favourite. In the plums my favourite is this pretty shimmery plum which is not deep and intense like the usual plums and purples . they stay easily for three days with a good fresh finish.

Revlon passionate purple :
I forgot the price but it may be somewhere close to 150 or 189 something ☹ Revlon has been carrying on with their old bottles even now and its time they changed it to some other pretty shapes.the pricing is a little too much and I would rather buy two colorbars with a little more money than one Revlon its time that Revlon bringd the neons and mattes to India as well . this particular passionate purple is a beautiful intense dark brownish purple with a glossy finish . a neat one caot is good and two coats leaves it perfect . It easily stays for four days and good in quality but nothing extraordinary for the price. I like this pruple for toenails particularly as it brightens the feet up. Its good for purple ethnic wears too on finger nails.

Avon violetta :
Price 159 for two on offer when I got them .
They are a recent release and were continuously on an offer of 159 for two . but now I believe everyone’s has got their share and these are not on offer anymore. Violetta is a dark deep matte color with an absolutely matte finish, its really a unique color to have and may look better on smaller square nails rather than long curvy nails.
It makes hands look really crisp and can match it with dark purple tees or jeans if u have any :p it chips easily in two days and is not like a peel off but chips in small bits here and there apart from the front of the nails. Good for trial and god for the price of 80 on offer. I may not buy it for 135 without offer.

Avon vivid violet:
This one acme with the neon collection and I am not particularly fond of this kind of purple which I fond a lil gaudy for my taste . Anyway I have it and so I use it but many may like it . it chips in three days with two coats. It has a gloss finish and is like a light purple .its aptly named vivid violet :/

Last word : If you want to pick up a purple I suggest u get the Revlon one or the matte one from avon . If you like shimmery. The plum one like the champagne shimmer in avon which is similar to pretty plum here, you can try that as well. 🙂

thanx a tonne for the review…was really helpful…I have 3 bottles of Avon’s pretty plum 😀 …U see I just can get enuf of it.. 😛 …& the Vivid violet…its AWESOME!!!! I <3 it like crazy…I am a purple person as well…thought of buying Violetta but changed my mind & bought Inky Blue but it turned out to be a li'l darker than I thought.. 🙁 And the worst part about this matt collectn is that it starts chipping from everywhere from very next day,evn from the middle of the finger…thats very irritating 🙁
