Rs. 55 for 100 gm.
Cleansing gel with turmeric and laung oil with antiseptic properties to clean off all pollutants and dirt off your face and give you healthy skin. Available at all khadi stores across the country.
I picked this one up from the Khadi Store in CP. There are two, a small one and another big one around the Janpath Corner. The bigger one stocks a lot of stuff and is always bustling. The shelves are so neatly decorated with these products that you always do feel like picking something or the other up from that store.
When I did work in CP, it was routine for me to go to that store walking and just end the long wonderful day with some shopping satisfaction
One coin quantity of gel to be massaged for 5 minutes on wet face and washed off.
My Take on Khadi Manav Herbal Haldi Magic Cool Gel:
This is one dud from Khadi, does nothing. So, there is this category of products which belong to nowhere and do nothing and yes this is the one. I have had many bad experiences with skin care product but none of them has excelled my disappointment expectations, this one did. It is a terribly bad product. How I wished that Khadi did make some decent products so that I can go and purchase proudly from them, but the cheap price and manufacturing does show up in some products.
This gel is the weirdest and most difficult gel I have ever used. It sticks to my skin to do nothing. It just won’t go and I just don’t like it. What can I say but just that it does not perform anything and is a waste. Even the turmeric mentioned in the ingredients doesn’t fetch a thing.
So please do not purchase this, rely on other good products from Khadi, i.e., foot scrubs, few soaps, good aroma products, hair oils and fabric. It smells strongly of laung oil, but gives me no benefit of laung oil.
I picked this up because of its two good ingredients which are turmeric and laung, but this does not work. It leaves me with a very clear and sticky layer of something on my skin and it’s just waste of money. It is also sticky and very very hard to massage into the skin. The skin does not absorb this.
I cannot list pros for this at all and it is a completely “failed” product from Khadi for all skin types. I request Khadi to really make some good products and take products like these off the shelves.
Cons of Khadi Manav Herbal Haldi Magic Cool Gel:
- Sticky, hard to massage.
- Cannot be washed off easily.
- Doubt the efficacy of ingredients.
- Not a face wash, not good as a cleansing gel. I can’t even figure out what category of product this would be.
- Broke me out, tiny zits after continuous application for 5 days.
- I want to throw my bottle right now.
- Boring packaging.
- Bad smell.
- Available only at Khadi, (don’t worry as you need not buy it now).
0 on 5! Sorry Khadi, better luck next time 😉
