Maybelline Color Tattoo-Bold Gold, Review, EOTD
So here is the third Color tattoo I bought two weeks back from Shopper’s Stop. I have bought 4 so far and have already reviewed these two. I love all of them. But particularly, I tried buying shades that were a little wearable as opposed to the turquoise ones as I assumed these would dry up on me soon. So the ones I bought are “Bad to the Bronze“, Fierce & Tangy“, “Bold gold” and “Audacious Asphalt“.

Expert Tip:
For a High impact look – Illuminate. With fingertips, sweep all over eye from inner corner and work outwards. For added drama, darken as desired.
I like gold for my eyes especially this festive season. Moreover these make for great bases to other colors and hence I wanted these as I don’t really have good eye shadow bases, I make do with something random.
The color is a bright shiny gold, it is metallic not really loosely shimmery but pure gritty metallic. One thing I dislike about this is that this feels very gritty instead of smooth. When I apply more than one layer, this starts feeling coarse and the eyes feel dry and heavy . So I recommend going easy on these.
The texture is really soft mousse kinds and these dry and set in 30 seconds and then last almost ten hours or more. I love how they don’t crease and serve great base to other shadows out of which you want to get some serious color out.I apply them with the finger or the brush they come with is great as well and serves the purpose of patting on the cream shadow on the lid. I apply the shadow in the shape of my eyes and then use that as an outline and fill in other colors.Here I mixed up some grey-black very randomly,I know this is not the very best combination.Crooked liner again đ need to get another liner.
The pot is really heavy as it is glass so I don’t suggest these should carried. The color really brightens the eyes up and if you pack this on your lid and line your eyes with jet black liner, this will really pop out. That is my favorite way.I think such a gold shade is a must-have for me.
Last Word:
Great color for the season and a great base which will last you all day long. More than one coat may feel heavy and coarse.The color will really brighten your eyes.

Trust me…You have put the product into to best use Neha. When I saw the swatch on hand first I thought how it is going to look on eyes alone. But you did total justice by adding grey to it. … Lovely eye do :))

Am new here, though I ve been secretly browsing it from past 2 mnths:-).
I bought the same a month ago fascinated by the colour Gold but didnt exactly know how to apply it as Neha said its slightly coarse. So i just apply it when am at home and admire myself. đ
