Gold Green and Red Ethnic Eye Makeup Tutorial

Hello Ladies,

I am back with another eye makeup tutorial and this time something ethnic. Gold, Red and Green are the most common colours you can find in traditional saree, lehenga and salwars. So, this is an eye makeup look that will go with all of them, and it is most suited for wedding, festivals, etc. So, let’s get started with the step-by-step process.

Products Used:

• Maybelline color tattoo gold bold.
• VOV eye shadow palette – olive green, red, and the highlighter pink.
• Maybelline gel eyeliner, Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara, Lakme satin kajal, Lakme Eyebrow Pencil, Garnier tinted eye roll on, Faces primer, Vega eyelash curler, eye shadow brushes and a few cotton buds.

Step-By-Step Procedure:

Step 1:

As always, conceal skin around eyes to even tone the skin.

Step 2:

Prime your eyelids, this will help the shadow stay longer and look vivid.

Step 3:

Apply the gold shadow all over eyelid with brush or finger, whichever is convenient for you.

Step 4:

Take the olive green eye shadow and apply it on outer V of upper eyelid, go till ¾ of the eyelid and fill the green shadow.

Step 5:

Apply the same green shadow on the lower lash line too, apply it on full lower lash line except the inner V corner.

Step 6:

With the help of a brush, apply the red shadow all over the crease making it wider towards outer V of eye and thinner towards inner V.

Step 7:

With a fluffy brush, apply the highlighter pink shadow on your brow bone area. After this, take the same brush (without adding more colour on it) go on and lightly fade the harsh lines.

Step 8:

On a flat or pointed brush, take the gold shadow and apply on the inner corner of the eye.

Step 9:

After following step 1 to 8, the result should look like this.

Step 10:

Using gel or liquid eye liner (black), line your upper lash line. Making a wing is optional, though it makes eyes look longer and suits with such colourful eyes.

Step 11:

With kohl, line your waterline and tightline your eyes.

Step 12:

Curl your eye lashes using a eyelash curler.

Step 13:

Apply mascara on upper and lower lashes.

Step 14:

Define and fill your eyebrows using brow powder or pencil. With colourful eyes, well defined eye brows is must. This step can be done in the beginning too, though I do it at end.

Step 15:

This is the final look.
