My Take on Sleek Makeup Acid I-Divine Palette:

I got a Sleek eyeshadow palette. 😀 Let me first show-off. 😛

This is my Sleek palette that I got from my dear friend in UK. I got it for 6.50$ through her from the Amazon website and the only reason I chose this is because this palette is the most vibrant eyeshadow palette from Sleek Makeup and needless to say, I love the lively colors that this palette offers.

Let us look at the shadows closely with and without flash.\

The shades are:

Top row (L-R):- Slightly shimmery Purple/magenta, matte white, matte yellow, matte orange, shimmery blue and shimmery turquoise/blue eye shadows.

Bottom row (L-R):- Matte purple, matte khaki green, matte doll pink, matte florescent green, shimmery grey and matte black eye shadows.

Out of these, the shimmery ones are superbly pigmented and one swipe gives a beautiful color on to the eyes.  I haven’t used the matte ones much except for the black, but the swatches are quite good of all the eyeshadows without any base/primer except for the white, which is very sheer and does not show up without a proper base, but I think just for blending the harsh lines, this white eyeshadow would also work quite nicely as it would not interfere with the other shade in any way.

Out of all these, I would use the yellow and florescent green the least, but rest of all the shades are great, either used singly or in a combination. They would add a perfect color on to the eyes that would look beautiful and vivacious when any occasion demands.

Purple and shimmery grey (in bottom row) are my favourites out of the lot and black and blue are the ones that I am going to use the most.

Sleek Eyeshadows

Swatch with flash, swiped once without any primer/base.

Texture wise, the eyeshadows are soft and smooth and blend beautifully. The shimmery ones or the others also have no fall-out at all and they do not look over the top.  They last easily for 6-7 hours without the use of any primer/base and does not crease or fade away. In short, these are a set of high-quality beautiful eyeshadows that provide a perfect way to add an extra liveliness on to your eyes/day.

Top row: Swatch without flash in natural light.

Pros of Sleek Makeup Acid I-Divine Palette:

  • 12 vibrant, beautiful shades.
  • Soft and smooth in texture that blends easily.
  • Great pigmentation even without the use of an eyeshadow base except for the white eyeshadow.
  • No fall-outs or mess created while applying them.
  • Stays on for 6 hours easily with negligible creasing and fading.
  • Comes in a sleek, sturdy and attractive packaging.
  • The foam applicator brush provided is of good quality and would be great to pack color on to the eyes in a hurry.
  • A perfect combination of matte and shimmery eyeshadows at a reasonable price.

Cons of Sleek Makeup Acid I-Divine Palette:

  • Availability is the biggest issue with these, one has to bear extra shipping charges if bought online.
  • Some eyeshadows like yellow and florescent green would look a little over the top if used on a daily basis, but that totally depends on your attitude to carry such colors.

Do I Recommend/Will I Repurchase Sleek Makeup Acid I-Divine Palette?

Yes, not this, but some other palette as Sleek offers a wide range of colors in different palettes that are just perfect value for money spent. If you haven’t tried anything from Sleek Makeup, then you are actually missing out on a  nice cosmetic brand and the eyeshadows particularly are totally recommendable.
