My Experience With Biotique Mountain Ebony Fresh Growth Stimulating Serum:
Now, this is the second time I bought this after one year gap. When first I had bought this, it’s name was Mountain Ebony Hair Vitalizer. So, I used it every night on my scalp and felt very relaxing. Now, it’s name has changed and they call it a serum. I thought hair vitalizer and serum are two different things. Then how come a hair tonic becomes a serum after a few months? Its confusing for me. ?:)
It doesn’t tame my frizz like a serum. Its a hair tonic that feels relaxing and volumizes my hair. Its a volumizing product that makes my hair look smooth and extra dark after 10 minutes of usage. It didn’t cause any kind of hairfall or didn’t aid in hair growth as such. So one looking for shiny dark hair and those who would love to give a volumizing appearance to hair would really love it.
Pros of Biotique Mountain Ebony Fresh Growth Stimulating Serum:
-It’s a fresh growth stimulating serum that aids in hair growth.
-Didn’t cause any hair fall.
-Its gives a volumizing appearance to my hair.
-Its not at all sticky even if you apply more quantity.
-Makes my hair look dark and shiny. :haanji:
-It has therapeutic properties.
-Its preservative free.
-It relaxes my when I apply this in night.
-Its quite reasonable.
-Its packaging is very eye catching.
-Contains extracts of Neem (Melia azadirachta), Mulethi (Glycyrrhiza glabra), Pippali (Piper longum), Kusumbhi (Carthamus tinctorius), Pudina (Metha sylnetris),Kachnar.
-Doesn’t contain alcohol unlike other vitalizer.
Cons of Biotique Mountain Ebony Fresh Growth Stimulating Serum:
-Its not at all a serum, it doesn’t tame my frizzy hair. :pan:
-No significant help in hair growth as such.
-Price has increased from Rs. 149 to Rs. 165 within a short span of time.
-Earlier it was named as Mountain Ebony Poly vegetable Hair Vitalizer, and now serum, so am confused.
-If they are preservative free, how come this product would stay for 3 years, which is mentioned as shelf life in the pack.
-Doesn’t stop hair fall. :nababana:
IMBB Rating:
3 out of 5.
Will I Repurchase?
I might buy for its volumizing properties.
:thanks:

I have used this one :happydance: :happydance: :happydance: :happydance: but it wasn’t a serum when I had tried this…I used it just on my scalp and felt it was helpful with reducing hair fall..which is what I had got it for. I don’t know if it would work as a hair serum for reducing frizz. I think naaa, they changed the name to serum just because everyone is on the “serum” phase now…skincare creams have serums, hair serums, so Biotique must have thought..hmmm we’ll change this to serum 😀 Or they mean a serum for the scalp. As for no preservatives :snicker: :snicker: :snicker: :snicker: :snicker: Biotique never does say what is in the cream base or in this case the liquid base of its products na
yesss radhika rt ! i liked it but yes its not a serum !
Nice review Taps :waytogo: biotique products never suit me :waaa:
all biotique products are not same, shampooos of biotique and few creams of biotique donot suit me at all but their soaps packs and tnited moisturiser did suit me, so in a brand few products may suit u few may not
in lotus opposite thing happened their cream , the whiteglow range pack did suit me well but their clay pack resulted in rashes and their keratase shampoo caused so much hairfall na ! so its a hit and trial thing dear some products would suit and some wud fail !
i always like your reviews Taps…. :waytogo: :waytogo:
this one seems good 🙂 dark and shiny hair… thats tempting 🙂 their musk root pack is also good for making the hair look dark… 🙂
i used their musk root pack but thts very very thick and coarse, i dint like much, but this one is good
:thanks:
It didn’t work for me either..the musk root pack :((
as soon as I saw Biotique I knew it has to be u Taps!!! I second wat Rads Said abt the name change thing. Nice review!!!
😀 ya i have used i think above 90 % of all biotique products ! okk now i get why they call it serum! :thanks:
another thing i checked now, its price is Rs 159 and not Rs 165 actually all shampoos are Rs 165, so i wrote tht, now I checked it and saw Rs 159 written!
hehe nice review Taps! I don’t mind using this one! my hair could definitely use some help! :yahoo:
Sukanya the way you prepare soo innovative products yourself at home, I dont think you would need this, you can prepare much better I think !
