FabIndia Avocado Face Wash
Hello IMBB,
Today, I am going to review FabIndia Avocado Face wash. I bought this along with my other items from the Avocado range.

3 years from the date of manufacture.
Product Description:
Enriched with moisturizing avocado butter, this creamy face wash gently washes away impurities and moisturizes skin leaving it smooth and supple. Excellent for dry skin.
Ingredients:
Purified Water, Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulphate, Cocoamidopropylbetaine, Ethylene Glycol Monostearate, PEG 7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Sodium Chloride, Guar Gum, Avocado Butter, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Citric Acid.
Packaging:
It comes in an opaque tube-type packaging. The tube is green tube in color (typical FabIndia packaging). It comes with a transparent flip-top cap.
My Take on FabIndia Avocado Face Wash:
The face wash is pearly white in color and has a runny consistency. I need just a small amount of it for the entire face. It lathers pretty well but not much. It gets washed off easily with no extra efforts and doesn’t leave any slippery feeling behind.
It cleans all the dirt and most of the makeup in a single wash. It never stung my eyes. It doesn’t dry out my skin which is the case with most of the regular face washes like Pears, Ponds, Himalaya, etc. It makes my skin soft and supple. Although, I have to follow it up with my facial moisturizer, but not immediately. It has very mild fragrance that is present in all FabIndia products. It stands true to its claims.
Pros of FabIndia Avocado Face Wash:
- Doesn’t dry out my facial skin, although I have to follow it with a light moisturizer in winters as I have dry skin.
- Doesn’t break me out.
- Doesn’t sting my eyes (I don’t have sensitive skin/eyes).
- Lathers pretty well and leaves skin clean and fresh.
- Complete ingredient list is mentioned.
- Paraben free.
- Cruelty free as FabIndia is against animal testing. :yahoo:
Cons of FabIndia Avocado Face Wash:
- It is difficult to control the amount of product in this type of packaging and sometimes it leads to wastage.
- Contains SLES.
- I could not think of any other con.

Do I Recommend FabIndia Avocado Face Wash?
Yes, I will recommend this to the dry/normal skin girls. Normally, face washes dry out the facial skin in the name of cleansing and leave us with stretchy and itchy skin. It is a nice everyday face wash and it leaves my skin clean and fresh without causing any dryness.

hi poonam, nice review, I will surely give this face wash a try as I have normal skin but most of the facewashes out there, either make my skin oily or leave it too dry.

yes i have nrmal skin only but dnt like appliying creams on my face so usually prefer face washes that are moisturizing enough
can u describe the smell as that’s something I prefer too 😛 :giggle:
It has a very mild fragrance but its good and u r gonna like it and the frangrance doesnt linger on.
Kind of an sweet and flowery I think. I am really bad at describing smell.. :chewnails :chewnails ..

I have normal skin in summers but normal to dry skin in winters.

I normally gets breakout from ponds,pears and Himalaya face washes..
But havent faced any with this.. So its working for me… U can give it a try. :worship: :worship: ..

I have once used a loreal facewash the SA suggested for mositurization and the smell was :doctor:
I bought a big tube then had to use it unwillingly to finish it off
frm then was being v careful abt smells 😛
