My Experience
I mostly wear peachy, coral and pink shades of lipsticks but I do keep a shade of a brown lipstick in my collection. I have to say that L’Absolu Rouge Brun Legende 255 is one of my favourite shade of brown lipstick. It is a peachy brown color with golden sheen to it.
The lipstick feels very light and comfortable on lips.It is not super creamy to a point where the lipstick would start slipping or smudging. The staying power is around 4+ hours on me and it pretty much survives the full meal and snacks. At no point I find it drying but it is not moisturizing or hydrating- just a comfortable wear. It does not settle in fine lines. The lipstick is medium pigmented but buildable. It is a gorgeous shade for Indian skin tones.
You can wear this color both during day time and evening. The shimmers only give a nice sheen on lips without “looking” shimmery. The lipstick has a light rosy fragrance but no taste.
The packaging is very pretty. The lipstick is encased in a classic sleek black packaging. The cap is magnetic and closes with a little snap.It never opens until you open it.
I totally don’t know what I don’t like in this lipstick other than the 8 hour claim ..may be.
Would definitely recommend it. 🙂
