My Experience with Parachute Advansed Jasmine Hair Oil:

The oil comes in a transparent plastic packaging with a blue flip flop cap.  It comes in 100 ml, 200 ml and 300 ml packaging. I got it in the smallest packaging.  There is no leakage of oil when the bottle is turned upside down.

This oil is transparent and definitely has the fragrance of jasmine and it is very pleasant. The fragrance isn’t strong at all. True to its claims, it is non sticky.

Hair Oil

This is a big plus point for me because I think non-sticky oils are easier to apply in hot summers and humid weather. It is watery and runny in consistency. It easily spreads on the hair and gets absorbed easily. It feels very light.

Parachute 3

When I applied this oil for the first time, I was very happy and satisfied with the results. I have applied this oil for a few times now and I am still satisfied with this oil. I apply this oil 1-2 hours before shampooing my hair and it feels very soft and silky after shampooing. It provides a very healthy shine to my hair and they are easier to detangle after shampooing.  It goes off easily in a single wash. It reduces the frizziness of my hair and hair fall to a great extent.

Parachute 4

This oil contains benzophenone-3 which is a sunscreen agent. I am not sure why they have added it in this oil.

  1. 79% mineral oil? *shock* I stopped buying mineral oil products. Being a petroleum based product and a lubricant, it only provides a barrier outside the hair (good for styling, frizz reduction) but it does not allow other oils to penetrate into the hair shaft or the scalp. After I came to know this, I checked and all the hair oils I had bought over the years contained a huge percentage of mineral oil *grrr* No matter what fancy oil I used, there would be no change in my frizzy, wavy hair, whatsoever. Now, I use pure coconut oil and my hair is much softer, frizz-free and I regret not listening to my mom before! *pigtail*
