7 Must Have Sigma Makeup Brushes

7 Must Have Sigma Makeup Brushes

I have bene using Sigma Makeup brushes for almost a year now and I totally love them. Infact they have such awesome makeup partners that I don’t know what would I have done without them.

I have to say that these makeup brushes are not the most awesomest ones around but they are very good. Not a single day passes by when I don’t use these brushes. They have gone through so many washes and still they are holding strong.

You can purchase Sigma brushes from Sigma’s website : http://www.sigmabeauty.com/

Two things I would like to mention :

1. When you buy Sigma brushes , buy 3-4 brushes in a go. Just buying one brush would only cost you a lot – considering the shipping is high.
2. Opt for first class shipping. It may be expensive but you’d get your brushes within 3-4 days packed in perfect condition.

I have reviewed all these brushes in detail HERE , HERE and HERE as well. read Karpagam’s experience HERE

Sigma F 80 : This you MUST buy from Sigma.  It is a flat top synthetic kabuki brush. Excellent for foundation. Infact, I am yet to find a better foundation brush than this one. It is awesomely soft, does not shed and gives a flawless foundation finish. The only problem is cleaning this brush but if you have a brush cleanser, 95% of your brush cleaning problems would be sorted.

Sigma E55 : This is a natural bristles brush. Great for placing the colour. Soft, picks up colour nicely and should definitely be there in your kit for applying eyeshadows on the lid or browbone.

if you are in Delhi, you can also pick Colorbar’s shader brush. It’s excellent.

Sigma E 30 : If you have a choice between picking this brush or MAC 219, I suggest go for MAC 219 brush. Review HERE. If not, I guess this works pretty fine. It is a slightly fluffy pencil brush. Great for giving that nice smokey effect on the under eye area. Doesn’t shed and is quite soft for delicate lower lash line.

Sigma E 40 : This is dupe of MAC 224 brush. I CANNOT do my makeup without this brush. It is AWESOME. I use it to apply concealer. I use it to blend the shadows. I use it to do crease work. I use it to apply a wash of colour all over the lid. It’s a brush to die for. 😀

Sigma E 65 : This is actually optional but a nice brush. I mainly use it for filling in the brows. It has the right thickness and sturdiness for filling in the shadow in eyebrow. Also sometimes when I want to apply a thick eyeliner, it works fine there also.

Sigma F40 :

This also is optional but if you are looking for a good blush cum contouring brush. it as soft as cotton ball and a great one for applying bronzer, especially. My everyday blush brush. Picks up just the right colour and applies flawlessly. Love!

Sigma E 25 : Mostly Sigma gives this one free with your purchase. I am not a huge fan of it but if you get it for free, guees you must not leave the opportunity. 😛 This is supposedly the dupe of MAC 217 brush but MAC 217 is much finer brush than this one and even better cut than this. It is an all purpose brush for applying eyeshadow all over or even blending it out.
