There was a time not long back when I went through a coral and peach lipstick craze. (Incidentally, nowadays, I find myself changing between going completely nude or amping up the volume and going bright. Being an absolute Libran, I am always balancing the scales either this way or that !!!). Anyway, coming back to this coral craze, which I went through, you can see my earlier reviews on coral lipsticks on IMBB here and here.
I had a look at this range of Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Plump Perfect lipsticks quite a few times, before taking the plunge and getting this one.
This lipstick comes in a matte-gold looking cardboard box with the signature Elizabeth Arden ‘red door’ logo printed on the left side of the box. The cover of the lipstick case and lower area is a plastic matte-gold looking casing with the ‘red door’ logo in gold on the top of the lipstick case. I found virtually no fragrance or smell in the lipstick, except a very faint, sweetish kind of smell, which I can’t really describe.

I find this lipstick so creamy and comfortable to wear, with just the right amount of moisture and shine and a rich luminous coverage. I find that it instantly brightens up the face and gives a warmth to the complexion.

• First of all, I just love the colour and feel it will suit all complexions.
• It really is smooth, creamy, and moisturizing.
• Feels hydrating and comfortable on lips.
• Gives rich coverage.
• Hides lip lines and certainly smoothens them out.
• Contains vitamins and other goody-goody stuff that are lip-friendly and help improve the lip texture.
• Plumps the lips but doesn’t give a tingling feeling.
• Lasts at least 4 hours without meals, and fades evenly.

• Price is on the high side.
I don’t have any other con to ‘con’tribute to this lipstick!

My search for the ‘perfect coral’ lipstick ended with ‘Perfect Coral’ Ceramide Plump Perfect by Elizabeth Arden. If you really want such a beautiful coral shade, do please check this out one, and I’m sure you’ll love it.

Thank you, Poo. Check Lakme 9 to 5 range, they have an orangish shade but not so much on the coral side. Check L’oreal too, I think they have something close to this too. If I come across anything else, I’ll let you know.
