IMBB is full of sunscreen reviews and I am sure all our readers are well aware of the need for a good sunscreen. Sunscreen is a must all around the year, even in the monsoon and winter. However, most of them are for regular use and may not have water resistant properties. You must use a waterproof sunscreen if you are planning to visit a beach or join a swimming lesson. Also for women, who sweat a lot, waterproof sunscreens are the best options. In this article, I have jotted down the names of some amazing waterproof sunscreens. As all of them are effective, I could not drop any one of these from the list. But that is an advantage as you have so many options to choose from. They are of various price ranges and most of them are available in India or even internationally. In a few cases I have found multiple products from a single brand and in such cases, I have mentioned the name of one mainly and then mentioned the names of others along with it, so that you can check. Also, there are multiple sunscreens apart from these which are great. But this article focuses mainly on water-resistant formula and thus many good sunscreens are not mentioned in the list. Again there were waterproof sunscreens that were not good in terms of finish, staying power, effectivity and were also not considered here. Anyway, without further delay, let’s begin the show of water-proof sunscreens.

Lotus is the most trusted brand in India when it comes to sunscreens and has something for everyone. This particular product is water-proof and does its job very well. This sunblock has SPF and PA++ and is absolutely non-greasy. However, this is great for sweaty beauties, but not for those taking to take a splash in the pool. It is water-proof but not to a great extent. So, it is ideal for summer or monsoon, but not for the beach vacations.

This is a 100% Natural sunscreen with all natural ingredients. It has very light texture and is easily absorbed into the skin. It is absolutely non-greasy and is also moisturizing for dry skin. 5. Shahnaz Husain Nano Sunscreen Gel:
This gel-based product moisturizes the face without making it greasy and oily. This protects from harsh sun rays and it keeps skin hydrated. It is ideal for face and neck. Since little goes long way, it lasts for good amount of time. Our reviewer used it during her trip to Goa and the waterproof claim worked amazingly for her.
6. Neutrogena Age Shield Face Lotion SPF 70:
This sunscreen has a light-weight creamy formula that keeps the face moisturized throughout the day. It is super effective and you can wear it under makeup too without the fear of white cast. The banana boat makes super effective skin care products and most of the products are sweat and waterproof as they are for sports people. It gets easily absorbed and protects skin from excessive tanning and sunburn. This is recommended by doctors and skin cancer foundations across the world. The high SPF content protects the skin against harmful Sundays and the waterproof formula makes it even more amazing. If you don’t want a separate day cream and a sunscreen in your travel kit, go for this one.
12. Sun Bum Broad Spectrum SPF 70 Premium Moisturizing Sunscreen Lotion:
Sun Bum Broad Spectrum SPF 70 premium moisturizing sunscreen lotion smells amazingly delicious of coconuts. It is a must-have for your tropical, beach holidays. It moisturizes the skin without making it greasy and patchy. It is waterproof and post-application you can spend 2 hours in water without the fear of tan and burn. The added advantage is that it is paraben free and is super mild on women with sensitive skin.
13. Etude House Sun Prise All Proof Moisturiser SPF 50:
Korean skincare products are taking over the beauty world and they definitely are into creating effective sunscreens. This one is enriched with the goodness of natural products as well as effective chemicals. It prevents suntan and also makes the face brighter. It is not at all sticky, very light and surprisingly matte finish for SPF 50. It is also waterproof and does not melt away with sweat.
