Lush Each Peach Massage Bar
First of all, what is a massage bar? Massage bars are another LUSH invention and where would the world be without them? Lovely solid bars of moisturizing butters and gorgeous essential oils melt on warm skin instead of messing about with bottles. Plus, they’re preservative-free for a conscience and body pleasing mode of relaxation. The hardest part of using them? Trying to convince someone that massage is a much better sport reciprocated.
Product Description from Lush:
What LUSH says about each peach massage bar: We make the Each Peach Massage Bar with fruity avocado and mango kernel butters, mixed with our cocoa butter and shea butter base for an extra nutritious, softening treat. It’s a best-seller and people have fallen in love with this peachy massage. The lime, mandarin and orange essential oils are immediately uplifting when you inhale the aroma. Mango butter is softer in texture than cocoa butter and has beneficial moisturizing, lubricating and damage-repairing properties. It is particularly useful on neglected or sun-damaged skins in need of extra care.

My Take on Lush Each Peach Massage Bar:
My first impression on hearing this massage bar’s name was “oooh peach-smelling massage bar,” but the name has nothing to do with its smell. It smells of lemons, lemons and lemons. I loved the smell. I used this instead of my regular moisturizer after a wash. I was skeptical about this melting on contact with skin concept, but it did really melt like butter on rubbing it over my skin. I love this concept and have gotten addicted to it.
On rubbing this bar on my skin, it deposits the essential oils of Persian lime, red grapefruit, sweet orange and mandarin and moisturizes my skin. The oily texture takes a while to get absorbed into the skin, but considering the harsh winter, I am okay with the presence of oiliness on my skin for a while ;).
I asked my mom to massage my back with this bar and it was total bliss. I had a feeling I was being pampered! It kept my skin moisturized throughout the day. The smell lasts up to 3 to 4 hours. The only downside is that it melts fast. I will definitely not use it daily, but will save it for special occasions. I feel it is mandatory to store this bar in the fridge to avoid getting melted and messy.
Now, let me tell you the pros and cons of this massage bar.
Pros of Lush Each Peach Massage Bar:
- Smells awesomely citrus-y.
- Contains loads of essential oils which will moisturize the skin.
- It is less messy when compared with the usual bottled massage oils.
- It is purely natural and doesn’t contain any chemicals (please correct me if I am wrong).
- The concept of the bar melting on rubbing on to the skin is so much fun.
Cons of Lush Each Peach Massage Bar:
- It melts very fast.
- Has to be stored in the fridge to avoid melting during summers.
- Considering its fast melting quality, it becomes pretty expensive. So, it would be ideal to save it for special occasions.
IMBB Rating:
4/5.
Do I Recommend Lush Each Peach Massage Bar?
