Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream

Hey Everyone,
I heard a lot about the Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector in the last few weeks and thought to try it out myself.  At first, I noticed they only have two shades available. I picked up lightest shade in color “Fair/Light.” The price was 14$.

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream

I wasn’t able to test it out before I bought it, but I had my fingers crossed that everything was going to be fine. The reason why I bought this was because BB creams are supposed to help acne-prone skin and lighten the scars. This one though is a “wannabe” BB Cream and it tricks a lot of people.

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector claims to moisturize the skin up to 24H, even complexion, correct blemishes, and give skin a healthy glow, and UV SPF 15 protection.

I applied this product all over my face down to my neck area. The first thing I noticed was that my face was glowing. It was very shiny but not oily looking. Since I’m not a huge fan of a sheer glow on my face, I set this cream with a powder.

Garnier BB cream

It also smells really yummy! It reminds me of their shampoo and conditioner, which is very fruity and I like it a lot.  The coverage is light and in my opinion does not do what it claims. This is more of a tinted moisturizer and this didn’t cover any of my scars. Unfortunately, it is also way too dark for me.  I am usually the second lightest shade in any foundation, but this one is maybe one or two shades darker than mine.

Pros of Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream:

  • Smells delicious.
  • Moisturizes my face.

Cons of Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream:

  • It’s a scam because it’s not even comparable to BB creams.
  • Way too shimmery on my face.
  • Doesn’t cover any of my scars.
  • Comes only in two shades.

Last Word on Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream:

This is a scam. BB Creams are known to help scars fade after a while and also they whiten the skin and even out the complexion. This Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector does exactly what a tinted moisturizer would do.  They actually changed their packaging and made it look more as a BB cream, which is ridiculous. This made me not like their brand at all. I am disappointed in this product and I will NEVER recommend this product to anyone.  In fact, I am going to try to return this soon. If someone is looking for a tinted moisturizer with a glowy finish and has a beautiful skin already whichj doesn’t need any coverage, this is perfect for you, but it does not do what it claims.

I guess the minimal number of shades offered by BB creams is a significant disadvantage :waiting:

too bad this does not work! i am using the maybelline bright benefit cream for the past one week (unfortunately its the only one available in india) its decent.. nothing too bad or too great.
does brighten/whiten. given light coverage and evens out skin tone (which is the best part) give it a try if you want to :)

Hi Sahar,

Too bad it is not working for you….this BB cream is available here in two shades Fair/Medium….Iam using the medium one and it is working well for me as a tinted moisturiser….gives sheer coverage.I dont have too many imperfections on my skin so I dont know if it works as a BB cream.

However , my opinion is , at drugstore prices I am not even sure if you can get any good BB cream.Because for all the claims the product is supposed to do, it is almost a miracle product :stars:
