FabIndia Lavender Skin Toner

FabIndia Lavender Skin Toner

Hi Beauties,

FabIndia Lavender Skin Toner

Almost all of us the importance of a toner in the skin care routine.  It plays an integral part in one’s everyday beauty regimen. I have always made sure that I used a skin toner to get rid of the sebum on my face and get a clean and fresh look.  I have used skin toners from Ayur and Biotique, the regular rose or cucumber variants of the toners and I was literally bored of the scent, especially the camphor/mint smell. The tingling effect on my skin after I dab the toner with a cotton pad, slowly turned into a mild irritation, though I don’t have any acne problem. I then decided to get rid of the toner that had camphor as an ingredient. I have now started using them on my toes to clean, before I hit the bed 😛

I came across the lavender skin toner form FabIndia while shopping at an online beauty store and the word “lavender” caught my attention.  Well, anyone would love the mild smell of lavenders and I am no exception to it!

Before I purchased this lavender toner, I made a quick check about the therapeutic properties of lavender.  Here is a little piece information about lavender that I found on the internet:

It is the most versatile botanical shrub that has a bluish mauve color and its native is the Mediterranean end of France. Since biblical times, lavender has been used as a remedy for skin infections, acne, sunburns and insect bites.

Product Description:

An alcohol-free hydrating toner that cleanses refreshes and soothes your skin.

Rs. 150 for 200 ml.

Purified Water, Propylene Glycol, Polysorbate 20, Phenoxyethanol, Lavender Essential Oil.

My Take on FabIndia Lavender Skin Toner:

Speaking about the packaging, the toner comes in a transparent, white and lavender colored bottle with a white flip-open cap. The nozzle on the cap is not oversized and therefore there is no fear of the product spilling over.

This toner like all other skin toners is a transparent light liquid. The scent of lavender oil is very mild and pleasant. After using a face wash on my face, I dab a little amount of the toner on a cotton pad and pat it gently on my skin in the upward direction. The toner gets absorbed quickly leaving a fresh and oil-free feel.  It controls the sebum secretion to a good extent, leaving my skin smooth and supple. It imparts a cool, refreshing, calm and nourishing effect on the skin.  Of note, there is not even a hint of irritation, even the mildest!

Final Verdict on FabIndia Lavender Skin Toner:

I would highly recommend this product, especially for this summer because this toner does provide a cooling and soothing effect to the skin.

Pros of FabIndia Lavender Skin Toner:

  • Mild smell of lavender.
  • Gives a refreshing effect on the skin.
  • Controls oil secretion.
  • Decent packaging.

Cons of FabIndia Lavender Skin Toner:

  • I don’t find any con with this toner.

Will I Repurchase FabIndia Lavender Skin Toner?

Do I Recommend FabIndia Lavender Skin Toner?
