Trend Alert: Mint
If you have followed any fashion magazine for past two months or if you have followed Rati’s fashion posts diligently, you will know what this post is about. If you love dressing up and are open to experimenting, this one is for you. The new trend on the block is a new pastel shade of green – “mint.”

It is the most popular colour for spring 2012. You will find it everywhere – clothes, accessories, jewellery, and makeup and so on. Pastel colours that are subtle and peppy both are excellent for spring and summer. This pretty shade looks chic instantly when worn with crisp white or other pastels.
If you are bold, the colour also looks flattering with brights like pinks and tangerine. In fact, the shade is so foolproof that you can even mix it with jewel tones like deep purple and burgundy.
Mint comes in both warm and cool shades, so no matter what complexion you have, there is a mint for you! Makeup is another way of adopting the trends. Opt for a bright mint nail paint or an eyeliner and you are ready to face the sun!
Although, I am not a big fan of Zara for women, I find that they have adopted this trend in a big way. Following are some pieces that I liked the most:
