My Take on Lancome Le Lipstique Lip Colouring Stick with Brush Mauvelle:

Well, what can I say? This is my first Lancome purchase and that too such a marvellous one.  I had no intention of buying another lip liner for myself, but this brand’s reviews had me so awestruck that I had to buy this product (and would keep on buying whenever I can ).

Lancome Le Lipstique lip coloring stick is a super pigmented and super soft lip liner I have come across. It applies effortlessly and lasts very long. It glides like silk, stays put and prevents lipstick bleeding. I don’t have a habit of covering my entire lips with a lip liner and I generally prefer to just outline my lips to enhance the shape better, but this is so soft and smooth that I love to cover my entire lips with it. It feels so easy and looks so good.

The “Natural Mauve” color is really beautiful and great for everyday use.  It isn’t overpowering and blends so well with many different shades of lipstick and gloss. You can either wear it alone or top it off with your favourite gloss and you are set to go. It would definitely suit all skin tones.

Oh my! it lasts for really long. It easily stays on me for 5 hours even after a nap and a full meal. My normal glosses that stay on for 2 hours (stretched to the maximum); on top of it easily crosses 3-½ + hours mark.

The liner is totally waterproof and does not budge even after rubbing hard.  It is 100% non transferrable.  I tried to rub the hand swatch with a wet cloth/wipe and even after rubbing it hard for 6 times, the swatch faded somewhat. Just check the picture attached below.

It is not at all drying on the lips. Although, it is matte and sets very quickly, still you would not feel your lips dry upon applying and after removing this lip liner.

Another best thing about it is the lip brush provided on the other end of the pencil. It is so soft and the shape of the bristles really makes application of lipstick easy. I love my M&S lip brush, but this one is better in comparison to the bristle softness and the shape. There is no shedding at all.

• The lip pencil is of the same shade as the lip liner inside, so identifying it is really easy.

• Price and non-availability in India is the only con I can think of right now.

100% recommended. Get it in any shade you like and enjoy a super pigmented and creamy lip liner.

Topped off with a light mauve-plum mixed colored gloss (in natural light again).
