How To Get A Flawless Face – Tutorial

How To Get A Flawless Face – Tutorial

Hi Everyone,

Sahar

This is going to be my flawless foundation routine with the perfect foundation brush.  Please be aware that I look horrible in some of these pictures. I have had bad acne for the past few months and my face is slowly getting better. I hope you enjoy this little tutorial.

But first, I have to tell you that I have used so many brushes to apply my make up and I feel like this brush is the ONLY one that makes my face look AMAZING, soft and smooth.

The Products that I am Using in this Tutorial:

  • Loreal True Match Foundation in W2.
  • Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation in Nude.
  • Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder.
  • Stippling Brush by CrownBrush.

Step 1:

First, I am going to mix my two foundations together to get my skin color, which looks like this.

I used a tooth pick to mix them together.

Step 2:

Now, I am going to tell you my secret for a flawless face.  I am going to take my synthetic stippling brush and dip it in my foundation that I mixed up. Then, I start stippling the foundation on my face. It should look like this.

Stippling brush

How to apply foundation

I keep stippling and stippling and it looks like this.

face

This is how my face looks like after I am done, pretty flawless, right?

Flawless face

As you probably know, the Maybelline Foundation is a little shiny, which is beautiful, but I personally don’t like it because I have oily skin. With that being said, I am going to show you what I do next.

Step 3:

This is my favorite part. I am going to take my puff and get some powder on it.  Then, I am going to gently PRESS it on my skin. If you PRESS your powder with a puff on your skin, it will make your pores look smaller and your face will stay matte for a long time (up to 7 hours!!)\

Excuse my messy hair!

This is how it looks when I am done and getting ready to leave the house.

    1. sure you can. its good for people with dry skin or normal skin who like to have a little shine to their face. the coverage is light-medium but you can built it up to full coverage

  4. What a wonderful tutorial! It strengthens my resolve to get past my laziness and dip a toe into the makeup world. :silly: Then perhaps I can also try this tutorial someday. 😀 😀 Thanks for the article, Sahar! And goodness, you’re so pretty! :woot: :woot:

  5. oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo u r so pretttyy

I have been tryin to figure out how to hide acne effectively for quite some time…I will definitely try this :yahoo:

  6. wooow u look amazing…. i have never imagined that i can apply liquid foundation with the help of a brush also such a good trick. ths way foundation cover the skin much better as seen in the pics. thnx sahar it will help us all :thanks:

    1. you are welcome. yes because if u stipple your foudnation on your face you are using more product rather than swiping the foundation all over your face with a brush or fingers. that way you wont use as much products which means less coverage 🙂

    1. nice i didnt see this video yet. the only difference is i am using a different brush that is able to give you full coverage but the brush she is using doesnt pick up as much product and will give you light coverage 🙂 oh and im not blending out the foundation i keep stippling till its blended out by itself

        1. you dont need full coverage Rati 🙂 you have such natural beautiful skin. but i do thats why we have two different ways to apply make up

  7. You are so pretty :)) I wanna wear powder to set my makeup but i look like a clown because it settles in my pores :(((( Will try your tip about pressing the powder 🙂

  8. Thanks for the tutorial,Sahar! I’ll keep this in mind for when I start using foundations. :preen: :preen:
And you look so cute!   I wish I looked like that…My friends say I look like a Pygmy Hippo with the face of a Capuchin. 😐 😐 😐

  9. wow i dint know that one could achieve such fab results with a stippling brush!! :woot: :woot: whenver i try applying foundation (i slather wid my fingers), it ends up looking like a mask :daayan: ! thanks for the tips! very useful :jiggy1: :jiggy1:
    you look beautiful! :puchhi: :puchhi:

    1. yes it can make a huge difference. alot of people say ”brushes are an investment” you invest in them and its worth it 🙂

  10. Let me complement you first Seher. Very very beautiful. And even I swear by the stippling brush technique. It really is great. And since I started using that I haven’t got back to using my fingers :))
BTW I guess you forgot to put the bad pics. LOL

  11. this is going to sound very silly but what is stippling? when you say ‘I keep stippling and stippling’ do you mean running your brush on your face in circles? I dampen a flat foundation brush and apply in upward strokes and then set it with pressed powder..is this technique also ok or would I get a better finish with your method?

    1. sorry, bad manners :(( I forgot to add that you are looking very fresh and very cute..the face does have a very lovely finish.

    2. Aruna, she means she kept dabbing the brush on her face until she reached this kind of finish. She wasn’t swiping the brush, just patting it on her face.

um…. i mostly apply in outwards and downward strokes not upward..

  12. Hey Sahar,
    Lovely tute.
Would also love to know what other make up products you are using here like: blush, lipstick… are you wearing any falsies?
Simply fab look. Wanna try and recreate it.
    Thanks for sharing!
    Bbye!

    1. thank you Radha.
Blush: 4th one from the coastal scents blush palette top line.
Lipstick: no lisptick. i had some concealer on my lips and put the lipglossNYX Smokey Look on top of it
Falsies: no these are my natural eyelashes 🙂

  13. WOW WOWOOWOWOOWOWOWO :mirror: :mirror: :mirror: U luk fab Sahar n tut is sooopr doopr wud give it a try try try :happydance: :happydance: :happydance: :happydance:

  14. I mostly do it the same way! I use Stippling brush as well, but before that I apply foundation with a foundation brush, to areas where I want most coverage….then I use Stippling brush and start swirling the brush gently till the finish is flawless and awesome!

You look beautiful by the way! A great tutorial….

  15. That’s a pretty face 🙂
you DO look flawless. thanks for the tutorial! I myself am trying to find a Good Stippling brush but I don’t think this one is available in India
