Back in 2009, I bought my first Wet n Wild eyeshadow and that was the single eyeshadow in the color Kitten\ Chaton. It’s a violet color with gold shimmer. It is only 1.99 $ and I thought why not give it a try. Unfortunately, it is very sheer and you literally have to layer this eyeshadow at least 10 times till you get a pigmented color on your eyelid. Really disappointed, I told myself that I won’t be buying any Wet n Wild products anymore.
After a while, I started to hear a lot of good things about the Wet ‘N’ Wild ColorIcon Eyeshadow palette. I really wanted to give them another chance and bought 2 of those palettes. They were extremely pigmented, but some of the colors were hard to blend, but this time, I didn’t regret buying these products. Finally, they came out with the ColorIcon Eyeshadow Collection. They had some gorgeous colors and I couldn’t resist buying all of these palettes. One of these palettes is called ‘’Comfort Zone’’ and from all the palettes, this one is my favorite because it has more neutral colors. This palette hast 8 different colors. On each side you have 4 colors and all 4 colors are made for a look.
As you can see in the picture above, every color has something written on it. The first color on both side is the ‘’Browbone” color, the second color is the “’Eyelid’’ color, the third one is the “’Crease’’ color and the fourth and last color on both sides is the “’Definer” color. In case, you use this palette more often and won’t be able to read after a while what each color should be used for, you can always look at the label on the back of this palette.
Wet ‘n’ Wild really stepped up its ante and is comparable to high-end makeup now.
I also made some swatches so you can see the color even better. Keep in mind that I did not use any primer or a jumbo pencil.

This is what Wet N Wild Says about Color Icon Eyeshadow Collection:
COLOR ICON EYESHADOW COLLECTION Eight dynamic, perfectly color-coordinated shades with high pigment and pearl for ultra-impact color. Shades can be used together or individually to create an endless variety of looks.
I am going to list the pros and cons about this specific palette.
Pros of Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Collection Comfort Zone Palette
- Most eyeshadows in this palette are pigmented.
- This palette has neutral colors.
- Very easy to blend.
- The palette is sturdy.
- On the back of this palette, you can read the instructions on how to apply the eyeshadows.
- The price (4.99$) is amazing; you get 8 different colors.
- Really creamy feeling to some of the colors.
Cons of Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Collection Comfort Zone Palette
- Some eyeshadows are very sheer and not easy to work with.
- These have a lot of fall out.
- All of these colors have shimmers to it.
My Overall Opinion:
I love this palette but I wish the Olive Green color and the Medium Brown could have been more pigmented because they are gorgeous. For the price and quality, you can’t really go wrong and the color payoff is amazing on most colors. I wish they would come out with more palettes and not just a few. These shadows are comparable to Urban Decay eyeshadows. What I thought was absolutely amazing was that on the back of this palette, there are a few looks that Wet ‘N’ Wild suggests. A ‘’Flirty’’, ‘’Sweet’’ , ‘’Dramatic’’ , and a ‘’Wild’’ look. I personally would not use these pre-formulated ideas, but you should try out to see if it might work out for you. I hope my review on this ‘’Comfort Zone” palette and the pictures helped you out.
