Coastal Scents Hot Pots

Hey Everyone! So, I figured out that since there aren’t too many swatches of the Coastal Scents Hot Pots out there, I am going to describe all colors I own.  First off, I have to let you know that these colors are amazing.  I am not sure how and why, but I freaking love these Hot Pots. I honestly would want to buy every single color they have.  Unfortunately, they don’t have stores, so you need to buy everything online, but if you buy more than 50$ on their website, you get FREE SHIPPING in the United States.

They always have amazing deals. Sometimes, 30% off of all palettes and sometimes even 30% off of your entire purchase.  The Hot Pots cost 3.95$, but if you wait for a sale, these eyeshadows are as cheap as 2.30$ each.  This company is growing with each single day that passes by.  I wish they would start having stores that makes us buyers see everything in person.

My experience with Coastal Scents has been good so far, I have no complaints at all. I have ordered twice from their website and every time that I got the package, it was packed so well that nothing broke (please see the picture shown below).  Both the times, they sent me a little gift. The only thing I don’t like is that most Hot Pots look different in person than on the picture on their website.

Anyway, here are some pictures of what I have.

Now, this picture was taken with flash.

Description of the Colors:

(Coastal Scents on their Hot Pots)

Hot Pots™:

We offer Blush Hot Pots labeled with the letter B and our eye shadows in different finishes identified by the following letters: Matte (M) and Satin/Shimmer (S). You may also select shades from our Creative Me #1 Palette labeled CM and our Metal Mania and Creative Me #2 Palettes labeled ME.

Hot Pots

●The first color I am going to talk about is the ME-10. This color is a gorgeous green minty color with a slight shimmer. To me, it looks more blue than minty.
●The second color is a light bronze color, the ME22, very pigmented and one of my favorite colors. It’s on the neutral side.
●The third color, S29, is on the beige side. It’s darker beige with a lot of shimmer, “PERFECT” as a highlight under the eyebrow.
●The fourth color on this picture, the S39, is a peachy shimmery eyeshadow. I like to use this color for more definition and for a warmer smokey eye.

Hot Pot

●The first color is a dark olive eyeshadow with golden shimmer, the ME01.  Unfortunately, this picture doesn’t show the actual beautiful color.
●The second color is called S05 and has a light taupe color to it. It’s very shimmery also.
●The third color named ME04 is a brownish pink color with a lot of shimmer. I have never seen such a color before. Sometimes the color reminds me of a plum.
●The fourth color , the S34, is an orange coral color. Mostly, this color is matte, but it does have a slight shimmery look to it.

Hot Pot Me

●The first color named ME09 is a pretty light olive green eyeshadow with golden shimmer. I love this color so much.
●The second color, S35, is a chocolate brown color with a red tint, it’s a really unique color.
●The third color named S38 is a pale pink with a tiny amount of shimmer.
●The fourth color, the ME24 , is a shimmery golden shadow, not too dark and not too light. The perfect gold eyeshadow.

Let me list all the pros and cons about these Hot Pot Eyeshadows.

Pros:

  • Amazing pigmentation.
  • A lot of product for the price.
  • No funny smell to them.
  • Very easy to blend.
  • Price is very low.
  • No fall out.
  • Comes with the name on the back of the pan.

Cons:

One eyeshadow is sheer.

My Overall Verdict:

I am in love, literally!!!!  In the future, I’m going to be owning all of these eyeshadows.  I just hope they start taking better pictures of the shadows because the pictures on the website tend to look different than they look in person.

I had a lot of fun writing this post, I hope you did too!!!!
