Product Description:
Lakme Absolute Plump & Shine is a revolutionary 3D lip gloss with its long-lasting formula and high pigmentation properties.
It contains Marine Collagen and high shine pigments to keep lips plump and hydrated:

How To Use:
Apply evenly on lips and rub together for an even distribution of gloss. You can also put a small amount on your finger and spread around your lips.

• Beige Shine.
The shade that I got is Beige Shine. Now, I think this is quite a dupe of MAC s Dazzleglass shade in Bare Necessity.
Packaging:
The gloss comes in a glass-like casing with a sturdy sponge-tip applicator.
(Now, the packaging is somewhat like MAC daazleglass lip glass :P, see here).
The wand does not pick up a lot of shade in one go, so you need to re-dip it for full application.

My Verdict on Lakme Absolute Plump And Shine 3 D Gloss Beige Shine:
I love glosses :love: :love: and I picked up this gloss from the Lakme Absolute collection on Rati’s recommendation 🙂
Sabrina has already reviewed the gloss in shade Candy Pink here, so I would avoid getting into long details in my review.
The shade Beige Shine, true its name is a n*de shade with golden+pink+purple shimmer in it. The shades adds a gorgeous shine to the lips and just a hint of pink colour. If you have pigmented lips, this would just work as a clear gloss for you. I am reaching for this gloss almost everyday and I love to top it over all my lipsticks just to get some glossy shine without altering their shades. The shade is perfect when you have done some smokey eyes/full eye makeup and you need to have toned-down lips. If you prefer your glosses with strong colour payoff, you should check the other shades in this range like candy, plum and berry shine.
The formula is soft, just slightly thick, but spreads easily on the lips. I find it decently moisturising too. The shimmer it has, is not gritty at all, just adds shine to the lips.
Since its a long-wear kind of lip gloss, it has some amount of stickiness, but not something that will bother you.
I like the fact that this has absolutely no fragrance or taste at all.
The staying power of the gloss is about 2-3 hours. I can’t say that it stays perfectly intact, but manages to keep some shine and hint of colour; it is nowhere near the 6 hours claim which the company has made.
Also, I did not notice any plumping effect from this gloss. It’s just that as a gloss, on its own gives an illusion of fuller lips. I didn’t feel any tingling sensation too, which lip plumping products usually cause.
Overall, I am liking this stuff and these have been fairly priced too. I would suggest you should give them a try.
What is Good about Lakme Absolute Plump and Shine 3D Gloss Beige Shine:
- Imparts a beautiful shine to the lips.
- Decently moisturising.
- Soft formula, spreads easily on the lips.
- The shimmer these have is not gritty.
- No fragrance or taste at all.
- Pretty packaging.
- Staying power of about 2-3 hours which is not bad.
- Fairly priced.
- Being long-wear kind, it is just slightly sticky, but nothing bothersome.
- Lakme products are available easily throughout India.
What is Not-So-Good about Lakme Absolute Plump and Shine 3D Gloss Beige Shine:
- Does not meet its 6-hour claim.
- I didn’t notice any plumping effect, as claimed.
- I think more shades should have been there.
- All the shades launched are shimmery, they have completely overlooked matte finish texture.
- I could not find the ingredients list on the packaging.
