What Benefit Says About “Confessions of a Concealaholic Kit”

Embrace your inner concealaholic! Why deny it when you can hide it, conceal it, camouflage and cover it? This concealing and brightening kit has EVERYTHING you need to satisfy all your concealing cravings!

Benefit Confessions of a Concealaholic

My Views on Benefit Cosmetics Confessions of a Concealaholic Kit:

I love the overall packaging of the kit. I am very much fond of concealers and I was waiting to try the concealers from Benefit. I was a little confused when I saw the price, but when the SA showed how it looks on my skin, I was interested. It completely covered all my dark circles and I was pleased.  So, let’s start exploring the kit, here we go.

Benefit Confessions of a Concealaholic

“That Gal”

Benefit

This is a brightening face primer.  I really liked the subtle glow I get when I wear this shimmery pink makeup primer beneath my foundation . It has a fruity fragrance also. It can be worn alone, under, and over makeup. You just have to smooth it evenly all over your complexion. It gives you a radiance!

“Erase Paste”

Benefit

This is a brightening camouflage. It is in medium shade. A light-coverage, peachy pink concealer to cover and brighten the area under your eyes.  It’s very creamy and a little goes a very long way. I dot this concentrated, creamy concealer on to the darkest area under my eyes with the brush and then blending gently.  I feel it is similar to NYX concealer in a jar. You just need a little amount to cover up your dark circles or red blotching.

“Boi-ing 1 and2 ”

Benefit

These are also concealers and I blend Boi-ing 1 and 2 with the brush to create my own custom shade and then apply over my imperfections and discolorations. The 01 shade is pinkish beige while 02 is more of a darker peachy pink with faint yellow undertones. There is a third shade of Boi-ing available individually for darker skin tones. It doesn’t dry up and it doesn’t fade.

“Lemon Aid”

I blend this creamy, soft yellow primer evenly over my eyelids to help hide discoloration. My eyes look refreshed even without eyeshadow.

“Eye Bright”

I blend this on the inner and outer corner of my eyes, then apply this pale pink brightening pencil around tear ducts to illuminate and lighten the area.

Pros of Benefit Cosmetics Confessions of a Concealaholic Kit:

  • The kit comes with an assortment of different concealer colors, application brushes, primers, and instructions on how to use it all correctly.
  • Effective method to conceal eyes.
  • Full list of ingredients.
  • Blends well.
  • Covers well.
  • Easy to apply.
  • Doesn’t clump.
  • Great for travel.
  • Doesn’t wear off.

Cons of Benefit Cosmetics Confessions of a Concealaholic Kit:

  • Availability might be an issue.
  • It is expensive.
  • Erase paste in the kit may not match very fair people.
  • Kit needs to handled with care, if it is not always air tight, there is a chance of product getting dried up.

Will I Repurchase Benefit Cosmetics Confessions of a Concealaholic Kit?

Yeah, definitely, I liked the kit overall.  I am pleased with this kit and it comes with two dual-sided brushes but that’s not the cool part. There is a cute little book which shows the pictures on how to apply the products.  The brushes are labeled. These small wonders in life make me rejoiced. Each side of the brush is labeled, so you never have to worry about dipping your boi-ing-covered brush in lemon aid.  Rather than buying all these products individually which would cost me more than 100 pounds, I think its a steal for 28.50 GBP.  I have included the swatches and the different views of the kit and I have also included the picture showing how to apply the products.  Now, I am going to tell you an important part.  On ebay as well as Amazon, and some other shopping sites, you may come across this product being sold at a lesser price, but don’t go for it.  The price exactly is 28.50 GBP, they might be fake, which would be of poor quality.  Here’s a link on how to check whether your concealaholic kit is original or fake.
