My Experience with Faces Glam On Cream Blush – Peach Glow:
As soon as I saw this crème blush from Faces Cosmetics, I knew I needed it for the only reason that I own just a single cream blush from NYX and like it a lot. Though I prefer to wear powder blushes more often, still in this winter, my normal to dry skin gets quite dry and a powder blush just accentuates the problem. On the other side, a cream blush does add a pretty color and also a nice healthy glow to the face and blends in with the skin quite well.
I just could not wait till a weekend when I could visit a mall and rush to the Faces counter. Thanks a bunch to these online websites selling cosmetics that has made my life so much easier and delivers the products at our doorstep free of cost. I placed the order in a day after checking the prices on the various online options available. As peach was the one shade that I did not have much in my makeup stash, I decided to select this particular shade.
Now coming back to the product, it’s a winner. It’s a pretty shade at a reasonable price. I have started to like Faces Cosmetics as a brand. It actually makes great products. We have heard a lot about their eye pencils, but I need to clear here that I now own 4-5 Faces products and all are fantabulous.
Packaging:
It’s beautiful!!!! As soon as I opened the outer black cardboard packaging to reveal the blush pack, I instantly cried out aloud as wow!!! Its lovely, sleek and so classy to look at. The packaging actually is a dark greyish silver metallic case that has a small button which needs to be pressed lightly in order to open the case. On the inside, there is a small mirror provided for touch-ups. The packaging is completely sturdy and travel friendly.
Shade:
The blush inside this pack may look a bit more orange to you, but when applied and blended, it turns lighter and shade looks peach with little orange undertones (not pink). Please see the swatch of the blush to better understand the shade. 😛 The blush has very very fine shimmer in it which is not that obvious and so it can be easily worn everyday and not just restricted to parties or evening outs.
Texture:
The blush is very smooth and there is absolutely no problem in blending it in. It is not very thick (compared to NYX) and one swipe takes out satisfactory amount of product which blends into the skin easily giving a nice glow and color. The pigmentation is medium and is easily buildable. Applying the blush twice or thrice does not look cakey at all, but helps to intensify the color and achieve the shade you desire.
Staying Power:
On my MF/Revlon foundation, it stays on for 5 hours easily and the use of a primer/base can prolong the staying capacity without doubt. It fades away evenly without leaving any shimmer behind. The blush does not melt in the sun or look/seem artificial at all. It’s waterproof too but it fades away quickly after coming in contact with water. I have not seen any extra shine or any breakouts after using this product.

Yes. I would like to get some other shade and recommend it wholeheartedly to all ladies who want to own a nice cream blush at such a reasonable rate. Add that vibrant glow to your face with a cream blush this fall. 😉
I tried hard to click a snap showing the true shade, but this is the one in which the color is visible somewhat. Actually, it looks quite natural in light, so it was hard picking the correct shade with the camera.

It’s a deep pink colour, need just a little and need to blend it very well. It’s a very out of the ordinary pink with shimmer.
