Jordana Easy Liner For Eyes Sea Green

Hello Friends,

Today, I am going to review Jordana EasyLiner For Eyes in Sea Green.

Jordana EasyLiner For Eyes in Sea Green Review

About the Product from the Website:

Jordana eyeliner

• Retractable, No Sharpening Required.
• Silky Smooth Soft Glide Formula; Doesn’t Tug Delicate Eye Area.
• Excellent Color Coverage.
• All-Day Wear.
• Convenient and Easy to Use.
• Made In USA.

Available in 13 Shades.

Price:

Rs. 100-150 for .28 gms (Available online for $1.99).

Packaging:

It comes as a retractable pencil. The color of the pencil matches with the color of the liner.  This makes it easily identifiable amongst my other stuff.  The cap is of golden color and the name of the shade is printed on the bottom side of the pencil.

Green eyeliner

My Take on Jordana EasyLiner For Eyes in Sea Green:

I want to tell you a short story behind my love for colored liners.  I had joined a dance class a few years back and a girl there had applied a liner in green color on her eyes.  That was the first time that I had seen someone apply a liner other than black :haanji:  I loved her eyes so much that I too wanted to pick it up for myself and the next time that I had gone shopping, I picked up some colored liners.  As I wasn’t comfortable with liquid liners, I picked the ones that came in pencils.  So, this is one of my first colored liners.

It is very creamy in texture and glides smoothly on eyelids without much effort. Due to its creamy texture, it smears easily and also gets transferred to the upper lid.  Liner has golden shimmers into it, but not at all chunky, which kind of adds shine to the color. It stays on the eyes for 6-7 hours, but the color fades away towards the end of the day. It is appearing quite blue in natural light pictures, but its totally green on eyes. :haanji:

Lakme 9 to 5 Liquid Liner in Olive:

I have also got a similar shade in Lakme 9 to 5 liquid liner, Olive. Lakme is a liquid liner and both the Lakme and Jordana one looked quite similar color-wise in swatches.  The only difference I could spot is that Lakme one has a bit more shimmery and glazy finish, although, the Lakme one becomes smudge-proof once dried, but as Jordana comes in a pencil form and creamy texture, it smears easily and hence has less staying power.

Pros of Jordana EasyLiner For Eyes in Sea Green:

  • Super creamy and hence no need to tug or pull while applying.
  • Quite pigmented and two swipes are enough to get the desired color on eyes.
  • Retractable pencil, so no sharpening required and hence no wastage.
  • Pocket friendly (inexpensive).
  • Can be used as an eyeshadow to create a particular look.

Cons of Jordana EasyLiner For Eyes in Sea Green:

  • Smudges easily and also gets transferred to the upper eyelids.
  • No mention of ingredient list and shelf life.
  • Not easily available in India, but can be bought online.

IMBB Rating:

3/5.

Do I Recommend:

Yes, if you are looking for some budget-friendly colored liner, you can surely give these a try; however, don’t expect too much for the staying power from these as the liner stays on the lid for a good 6-7 hours, but fades slightly due to its creamy texture, but as far as pigmentation is considered, they are good.  I found it quite similar to the Lakme Liner.
