Naval Herbals Aloe Vera Gel Moisturizer Review

I would like to introduce you all to an aloe vera product, which I started using about an year ago.

Aloe Vera Moisturizer is a product of Naval Herbals. This range includes many more aloe vera products: Aloe Vera Face Cream, Aloe Vera Hair Oil, Aloe Vera Bathing Soap, Aloe Vera Pure Extract and Aloe Vera Shampoo.

Aloe vera is termed as the “miracle plant” and “natural healer.” The gel within its leaf is used for many cosmetic and medicinal purposes. The inner gel has those eight amino acids that is needed by the human bodies and cannot be produced by the body itself.

The aloe vera gel and the aloe vera juice are considered synonymous, but that is not true. While the gel is the inner most part of the leaf, the aloe vera juice can either be a whole leaf or inner gel juice. The outer leaf contains aloin; the bitter substance found just under the leaf skin. Experts believe that only the aloe gel in fresh form has remarkable properties.

My Experience with Aloe Vera Moisturizer:

I bought this gel moisturizer when I was carrying my daughter. I used this gel on my belly stretch marks pre and post delivery.

To reduce stretch marks from the body, you have to be very devoted towards it and religiously follow the aloe vera routine, which I didn’t do because I forget to and also I am very lazy.

Now, on to the Aloe Vera Moisturizer. It comes in a transparent plastic tub with a white plastic cap. The product is transparent and greenish in color. It has a gel-like consistency and has a pleasant flowery scent.

Skin gets a very cooling effect when this moisturizer is applied. It is no sticky and does not give any oily feeling. It gets absorbed into the skin in about 5 minutes.

I usually applied this gel on my pre-delivery stretch marks. My belly skin used to be well moisturized and it used to have a soothing effect on my stretch marks.

Stretch marks during pregnancy are very problematic, this gel was a savior. I applied this gel once in every 2 hours then. I like this gel moisturizer very much. Now, I also use this gel on my face after I scrub. I am planning to try other aloe vera products from Naval Herbals.

Summarizing it, I am happy with this product.

Pros of Aloe Vera Moisturizer:

– Gel type moisturizer.
– No stickiness or oiliness.
– Soothes skin and gives a cooling effect.

Cons of Aloe Vera Moisturizer:

– Comes in a tub (unhygienic and also settles in my nails when I dip my finger to use).
– Has a slight scent, which indicates that something artificial has been added.:(

Yes, I will buy this moisturizer again once my current tub gets empty.
