Faces Minerals Liquid Makeup Ivory 02 Review
Hello Friends :)) This is the first product that I am going to review from my haul. After having faced some skin issues like breakouts and all, I decided to go for the mineral range of products, so to be on the safest side, I first bought the Faces Minerals Foundation because that was the cheapest I could find in the mineral range of any brand.

Product Description by Faces Canada:
- Smoothens & illuminates your natural skin tone.
- Lightweight formula, does not drag or cake up.
- Vitamin E helps renew your skin from within.
Price:

Rs. 499 for 25 ml (I got it for Rs. 450).
Packaging:
This foundation comes in a slim but sturdy black elongated tube. It’s kind of sleek and easy to carry.
Fragrance:
It has an ultra-mild metallic kind of medicinal fragrance to it which is hardly noticeable and this was the best way I could describe the fragrance. 🙂
My Take on Faces Minerals Liquid Makeup – Ivory 02:
I got the shade Ivory 02. The coverage is medium. I have always used this foundation along with the NYX or Bodyography primer. This foundation glides like silk. I have worn this from morning 10 to evening 7 and I did not even touch it up in between and my skin did not get oily despite it being on the oilier side (and that could be because of the current winter season too).
With this on, I didn’t even feel like I am wearing any foundation and this means that it is very lightweight. I am totally in love with this foundation. The best thing about this foundation is that it did not break me out at all. In fact, I found this to be better than the Lancôme oscillation one I have. 😀

Pros of Faces Minerals Liquid Makeup – Ivory 02:
- Glides like silk.
- Does not cake.
- Stays for the entire day without touch-ups.
- Doesn’t make the skin look dull at the end of the day.
- Does not contain parabens.
- Does not cause breakouts.
- Does not feel heavy at all.
Cons of Faces Minerals Liquid Makeup – Ivory 02:
- The only con I can say is the limited availability of shades. The shades that are available are more for pinkish tones and I am more of a yellow tone.
Rating:
4.5/5 (minus 0.5 for the limited shades).
Will I Buy Faces Minerals Liquid Makeup – Ivory 02 Again?
Not in the near future because I want to try the TBS Virgin Mineral Range. 🙂

Wow this sounds so awesome..Nice review Dimpi :waytogo:
hey thanks richa… :thanks:
This sounds super awesome! :woot: Nice review, Dimpi. By the way, can anyone tell a poor ignoramus how a mineral foundation is different from a “regular” one? :specs: :idk:
Um…I’ve heard that mineral makeup provides a more natural finish as opposed to traditional makep. And it’s better for your skin in most cases as there are fewer harmful ingredients and most of them are natural mineals. Hence, the name. :specs: It’s good for people who faces skin problems such as acne, sensitive skin etc. They do not use talc and other fillers that can be harmful to the skin. Most mineral makeup has rather similar ingredients.
Hope that helps. :dumb: :teddy:
Oh! :specs: So, THAT explains the name and the hype around it. :silly: Thankee, Pragny! :puchhi: :woot: :woot:
pradnya….nice n perfect explanation…. :thanks:
