Packaging:
The gloss comes in a pretty, classy, attractive, see-through (plastic) long tube type packaging. The cap is black in colour, has quilted texture just the way Colourburst lipsticks have. It has a doe-foot applicator, slightly round in the front. The wand is long enough and makes the application easy.

Well, a lot has been said already about these lovely glosses. I had absolutely no intentions to buy this one, but there is “something” so luring about these Revlon glosses that I can’t just get over them. I wanted to buy a Revlon Colorburst lipstick, but ended up buying this gloss. This particular shade was recommended by Jinal and when I swatched it on the counter, I was sold 😛 I wish I could get all the shades in this gloss range.:D
Now, here is something I want you to sort out for me, I have a strong feeling that this shade is quite similar to Hooked on Pink gloss from Maybelline.

I think while Aubergine is a nice plum shade with prominent shimmer particles in it, Hooked on Pink is a dark pink, berry shade, more on the pinkish side and with less prominent shimmer in it. Though there is a slight difference in the shades, I feel they look almost same on me.

I believe more or less they both look same on me, let me know your thoughts about it. Personally, I like Aubergine more, what about you?
What is Good About Revlon Colorburst Lip Gloss in Aubergine:
• The formula is non-sticky.
• The texture is soft, smooth and glides easily on the lips.
• Imparts a beautiful, natural shine to the lips.
• These are non drying, decently moisturizing.
• Available in 18 gorgeous shades including both matte and shimmery.
• The shimmer in these is not chunky or gritty.
• These provide good coverage; also can be built upon for full/opaque coverage.
• Staying power is decent about 3-4 hours.
• They have no cheap/bad smell or taste, just a hint of vanilla.
• The packaging is sleek, pretty and snugs easily in my bag.
• The applicator is soft and makes application easy.
• Easily available across Revlon counters.
The only downside could be the price and since its nonsticky, the staying power is not superb. Overall, I absolutely adore these and I am definitely getting more.
