Lush Jungle Solid Conditioner

Lush Jungle Solid Conditioner

Hi IMBB,

I am so excited, it’s my first ever review and I just can’t contain my excitement. I’m reviewing the Jungle Solid Conditioner by Lush.

Lush Jungle Solid Conditioner

What Lush Claims:

Is your hair like a wild beast?”xtra fruity “ “xclusive” Jungle will tame it. Our only solid conditioner is packed full of potassium rich mashed bananas and creamy avocados to smooth and tame hair as tangled as jungle.Cocoa butter moisturizes every strand and rinses easily out of hair, leaving it marvelously soft.

The product is not listed on the Indian website.

How To Use:

(from Lush catalogue).

  • Smooth along wet hair from root to tip.
  • Rinse out just like liquid conditioner.
  • Dry your hair and your comb will slide through former tangles like a hot knife through cocoa butter.

Phew, I know, I know just too many claims, reason enough for me to desperately get my hands on this product.

Cost:

Rs. 350/block.

My Experience with Lush Jungle Solid Conditioner with Tropical Fruits:

After a lot of hpye created around this solid conditioner, I was tempted to try this.  I have dry, thick, long hair which tends to get tangled and I did think that I had found what I was looking for, but alas, I was disappointed.  Despite all the claims, it doesn’t live up to even a single of those claims.

The main drawback is how to spread it along your hair especially if your hair is medium to long, it’s too “solid” to smoothen on your hair unless you rub it hard tugging out a few strands in the process despite of melting it with hot water. It’s more suitable for short hair.  The effect on the hair is like any other conditioner.

The conditioner doesn’t have a strong smell like other Lush products and in spite of that, I didn’t find the smell pleasing, luckily the smell didn’t linger on the hair for a long time.

Pros of Lush Jungle Solid Conditioner with Tropical Fruits:

  • Doesn’t cause hair fall by itself.
  • Contains organic ingredients.
  • Lasts really long.

Cons of Lush Jungle Solid Conditioner with Tropical Fruits:

  • Requires a lot of effort (if you miss your morning workout session, it will compensate for it).
  • Doesn’t live upto the claims.
  • Shelf life and manufactured date not mentioned.
