This is an interesting concept of lip care range introduced by The Body Shop. When I first started using it , I was quite impressed by it. I was having a bad lip day (read cracked, chapped). So I applied the lip oil at night and almost 80 percent of my lips were healed and my lips definitely came in better condition. I decided to use it during the day as well.
The good points are:
- interesting roll on concept. The metal roll on feels nice and cooling on lips.
- The oil feels light on lips and gets absorbed within 10 minutes of application. It is not a best base to be used underneath the lipstick but if you apply it before starting your makeup and apply your lipstick at last, it would prep your lips.
- It does not feel greasy or oily . It just feels like a light watery kind of product on lips.
- It has a mild coconutty fragrance – not like coconut hair oil definitely. But light sweet coconut fragrance and sweet flavour as well.
- Sleek packaging.
- It gives a light shine to lips and can be used as a light gloss.
- 100% natural ingredients.
- It is not moisturizing enough. In,fact during the day after a few hours my lips feel super dry.
